What's the difference between Crystal and Lee? I've watched a lot of young artists and Lee has a lot more potential, but he's also scared shitless up there. This is the guy that Lee sounds the most like and whose music he tends to emulate. Maybe being a single mom has helped Crystal with confidence.

Crystal was totally in the moment. She owned that stage for those 2 finale nights. Singing along side one of the legendary "Gray Haired Rock Stars". You can see she totally gets it, that she understands Rock and Rolls roots and repects those artists who came before her. Kara was right, she had totally blossomed, and what a sight it was to witness. A fan for life.

Crystal is genuinely happy for Lee and I don't think she wants her fans to begrudge her friend and fellow musician. Sure, she's much better than Lee. but it didn't surprise me Lee won. Ok. So what. Crystal is in league of artists like Alanis and Joe Cocker -- they didn't need to win some contest to succeed. Neither does Crystal. Yes, AI made a good springboard, but she's got some great wings, and from this point forward, I'm sure she'll fly quite nicely on her own.

Well I just loved when Joe came out! My dad and i were pretty much screaming when he came out! But if you think about this..... Crystal is truly amazing but i cannot see her as a american idol.. i can see her as a new famous artist that realises new albums. Lee looks like a dude that is like "hey i won" i cannot see him becoming really really famous. although he is a great artist as well.

Lee's weakness is that he's shy and too starry-eyed. In terms of sheer potential, he dominated Idol. Simon Cowell demonstrated what Lee can do with some solid direction. As a result, Crystal's performances were generally consistent, while Lee was either off key or absolutely brilliant. If I'm a betting man with a record label, Lee is the sort of performer I want. Funny how he sang next to the guy he sounds most like.

Thank you for all of the great Crystal videos through the whole season. Mama Sox won, but Lee had the tweens and teesn hyper texting. lol That's the way it goes.
