I've noticed some players that are keen on this chicken picking stuff are evidently unaware everything they do is like a tatoo, they think its different but it becomes no different than any other tatoo so they go out and get another tatoo and another and soon they are covered up like brian setzer and stuck in the same rut he's in, it all sounds the same.
I am a crappy rock guitar player exploring country licks I have just realised that WOW, the notes between the dots still work in major key. GREAT RIFF!!
Amazing! I'm sooooo impressed with your coolest play and great tone! what kinda Amplifier are you using?and If you don't mind, would you teach me your tone setting?I mean Treble,Middle, Bass things.
Anything special about the 52 ri. that you needed what amp is it.Im about to get a 60s annvers. that has a 1 in a million neck, at least that fits me.Gotta love a tele, Seems its the smallest things that make the biggest difference.Nice little riff you showed us up there, Thank you much.
@1goodguitar hey, i bought a "60's an" it played awesome, i shouldve changed the pickups then maybe id still own it, i jsut thought it was thin, My guitar i have the fender noisless pickups, they are ok i think if i change the pickups again it will be lindy fraighlin pickups (not sure if i spelled that right) they def sound great, as far as the amp goes it is a maz 18 dr. Z its great its not loud enough for big stages but it is good in the studio and great for smaller gigs, i hope helps you!
@1goodguitar The neck on that 60th Anniversary Tele is horrible. It's flat and thin like an Ibanez neck. The 52 RI has the best neck of any mass produced Tele that I've played. Better still, get a USACG Super Fatback (AKA The John Holmes) neck. Add the custom body, pickups, electronics, nut etc to your specifications and roll your own Tele.
@Triumphinchrist1 hey yes i am using the boss compressor, tone and attack maxed, level just above half with a little sustain maybe at 7 o'clock its turned. thanks for checking it out!
DANG!

@GeorgiaBoy1961 its a 52 re-issue with the fender noisless pickups, jumbo frets, and a drop shot, and a modern bridge thats about it!

@darcyjohn1: Darcy, by a drop shot you mean a detuner, right, to lower your bottom E to D?
