Was wanting imput for starting carving, i'm going to start in ski boots, they're very stiff, and standard bail/rat trap bindings, polymer coated steel, and a Hooger Booger 158, it's from the early 90's, camber is still there, barely used, and no it's not an asym thank god. Not very stiff, but good starter board. I'm a bit used to cross under technique and push and pull already. I tried 50/60 angles with the soft bindings on my 148, and was getting used to it, but quickly hit the plateau.

Tom, you're one smooth carver! Love your push-pull... I just started on HB this year, and hope to even be half as smooth :)
