I've see this group and another group (the Mahoney Bros) live. Hands down the Mahoney's are better. They play at Altlantic City most of the time. Have played all over the United States though, even including Hillary Clinton's birthday party. Longest running Beatles imitators, did the original Legends in Concert in Las Vegas, and the original play "Beatlemania", in New York.
These guys are the second best Beatles imitators I've ever seen. Whose first, Undoubtedly a group called The Mahoney Bros. Listen and see, you will agree.
i saw them 2 weeks ago it was so cool at the begening thy were showing ed sullivan on t.v then out of no where it goes dark for less than a second then bam all my loving.scared the hell out of me
I saw Rain not these guys, the other guys, Paul was left handed, but this paul sounded more like the original, but anyways they were great! I can't wait to see another show!
sound like a great cover band but they dont have they arangement right for doing this boy. all 3 should be stood together when singing it to hear them harmonys lol
Come on, Paul. Learn leftie. The rest of the presentation is quite good, but why put all the effort into the staging, clothing, and movements and not be playing left-handed?
@rath9732 Because Joey Curatolo sings it better than any other Paul impersonator. He's right handed and is 1000 times better than the rest. Live with it.
"Paul" looks just like Paul! Ringo's motions too are spot on, also John's. These guys are great! The harmonies in this song are very difficult to emulate
When Rain is really on they can make a decent claim to being the 2nd best Beatles tribute out there. "John's" voice is not really "John like." "Paul" of course, must be left handed. But they are real pros and far ahead of many.
paul is taller than george in this band, not at all like in the real beatles. lefty? righty? who cares. it's a tribute band. they do a great job of it. Can't wait to see them again.
I saw them last week in NC and Paul was playing left handed. He had a left handed Hofner bass and played very well, he taught himself to play left handed.
Two weeks ago I've seen these guys in action with my godfather and to be honest I was skeptecal (However you spell it :P ) at first but after the performance I was in shock and awe....I even got up in my seat and danced to the music in excitement!!! Very good, infact makes me wish I were born during the late 50's to hear the Beatles.
RAIN has a best Paul McCartney I've ever seen, and the band BEATLEMANIA NOW has the best John Lennon. (do a search....you'll see and agree) The 2 guys need to form a new Beatles tribute band....it would be the best ever....only second to the real Fab Four!
OMG! i saw them six days after this was taken at the Hummingbird Centre. then again the next year on the same date, im sooooooo sad they didnt come back this year. Rain is awesome!
1964-The Tribute blows these guys outta the water. Their Paul is left handed and they sing even better and harmonize just like the beatles. They talk exactly like the originals too. Rain doesn't come close to any of that. GO Beatles!!!!!!
This is a pretty good effort. The main thing about the original recording by The Beatles is the harmonies and these guys basically nail it. I am not even watching as I type; I am just listening, I am impressed.
That is a reasonable and honest answer. Here in Las Vegas, we have three or four outstanding Beatles cover bands. But I think these guys could challenge.
too many to recall them all but Help, Twist and Shout, This Boy, Come Together, Sgt. Peppers LHCB, When I'm 64, and Revolution were great to hear...I'd see them again if I could, they are that good!
by now you've probably all seen it but in St. Louis they did I Want to Hold Your Hand, This Boy, All My Loving, When I'm 64, SPLHCB, Come Together, Imagine, Get Back, Let it Be, Twist and Shout, Revolution, Strawberry Fields Forever, I Am the Walrus, and many many others.
I've seen "Rain: The Beatles Experience" four times, now- and have decided to make it a tradition to see them every year that they come to my city. Maybe there's a few inaccuracies, but these guys put on a truly phenomenal and memorable show and really bring back the spirit of the times. It's an enjoyable night when you go to see "Rain". I highly recommend them!
hmmm...not bad but i think The Fab Four beatle tribute band is better.....at least McCartney is left handed and sings and acts better then this guy....sorry just one opinion....Rain still a good tribute band and thats all that counts...just their visual effects of a right handed Paul seems to spoil the mood...

Anyone who plays can tell you that this sort of thing is VERY difficult to do, it's challenging enough to get the sound and vocals out smoothly, never mind LOOKING like the Beatles and interacting with the audience in the same way. Great stuff!!
Theres a band called "day tripper" out of Montreal who has a Paul who's righty and learned to play lefty....that's seriously messed! they were awesome too
oKAY.......The sound is great ! But Please....EVERY Beatle Fan KNOWS that Paul played LEFT handed hofner ! Get it right please. That's what makes it REAL !
OK.. They're sound great. BUT.. they're supposed to be the Beatles! Hard to "imagine" them as the lads without a left handed Paul. If I want to hear Beatle music I'll play a CD. Fans of the Fab Feux.. the same thing.. they just SOUND like the Beatles. Of all the bands i've seen.. 1964 pulls it off better than anyone.
i said that! they sound great! BUT.. they're supposed to be playing John, Paul, George and Ringo. Without a left handed Paul you CAN'T pull that off. That said.. I'm looking forward to seeing them for the first time, 4.27, here in Phoenix. I'm sure I won't be disappointed. I like the fact they go through the Beatle progressions.. from "Meet the Beatles" to "Sgt Pepper" to "Let It Be".
it's hard to "imagine" them as the Beatles without a left handed Paul. They sound great. but.. if i want to listen to Beatle music I'll just play a CD. Fab Feux the same. they sound GREAT... but..
