This song is a Punjabi song which is hundreds of years old. It is sung at every Punjabi wedding all over Punjab in India, Lahore, Delhi, and Kabul. My grandmother used to sing this song in the 1950's. According to her saying the song was sung by the Punjabis in the 1800's.

but unfortunately Punjabi is not.but i like Punjabi songs very much but could't understand them. that's why i asked for its lyrics but if you can't that's OK.

The Pakistani punjabi consists of many dialects and that maybe the reason why you find it a little odd.

@ish000007, In pakistan punjab there is a continous continuum of dialects of punjabi or whatever you call it. In hafizabad west of gujranwala , people use word like menda , tenda , karenda etc. eventhough for me they speak language similar to us in gujranwala but we in gujranwala find these words quite odd though, Pakistani punjab is just a conituum of punjabi dialects. That is why we use urdu to communicate to each other just to avoid any confusion with others
