Debussy was inspired to write 'clair de lune' after Paul Verlaine's poem of the same name. If you come over to my channel, I have written a new adaptation/arrangement of clair de lune setting the lyrics of paul verlaine's poem to debussy's melody....the video has translation of the poem so now you can truly know what it is all about!

i love it! ever since i was little i have had a fascination with music especially pianos and this one is just gorgeous and marvelous i cant actually play but i dream that i can. good work on the slideshow!

i feel exactly the same.. my dad had a Debussy cd and I always just melted listening to this song.. i recently heard it in Skins and immediately downloaded it.. tried to find a nice slideshow with it and I'm glad I stumbled upon this one...
