@ObssesedNuker Have other books one of which was written by a Darwinian geneticist (pub late 1988) whose father was an instructor of Darwinian Theory and was never see again---his daugher who I mentioned above was able to make it to the United States----again the book I cited did mention in detail the destruction of the teachings of Dawin in Russia---did not conform to Communist?Marxist belief----have many others and mag articles---even had a phy anthro instuctor who was not aware this.

You also realize that we have learned a ton of new things about the USSR after it collapsed, right? Maybe you should look into books written in the 90's and 00's about Soviet society.

@ObssesedNuker IF you had read The Rise and Fall of Lysenko you would also know the Communist Govt attacked Darwin & referred to his science as "Bourgeois Biology".When the book came to the US it still took several yrs for the Soviet Govt to start & change their basis for biology; as such many of Lysenko's supporters continued teaching/in positions of power of educational centers. (4:19 - 4:40) That is not what those Chrysler Victory air raid sirens sound like. They have a much louder 440hz tone, and were the loudest sirens ever made. Apparently they couldn't record the siren's real sound (it probably would've come out sounding distorted), so they dubbed a police/fire siren over it instead. Look up "chrysler victory siren" here on YouTube to hear what a real one sounds like.
