This is because she is wearing natural hair underneath the braids. Natural hair is stronger and can handle braided hairstyles when they are not held too tight.

Hair was dipped in hot water. Naturally when you finish kanekalon which Xpressions is one of them, it is always best to dip it into hot water. Check some of our braided style videos and you will see how it is done. cheers

Braids are generally safe on clients with virgin afro hair. If your hair has been chemically processed then stay away from micro braids and jumbo braids - like this one. The weight becomes too heavy for your processed hair and pulls it out. This is why we recommend natural hair as it can take on lots of style. We call it the best of both worlds. cheers
