its not the numberplate. it is either the plastic panelling inside the boot, the lock mechanism or the boot itself. I think it is the locking mechanism. The front doors do it too. I need to take it all apart and sort out some padding for it.
The main thing is you can't hear it inside the car, the front door rattle you can though.

they are pretty good for the price. They are classed as Pioneer's high-end subs (bar the "Premier" brand) but that model has now been replaced with the 307c, hasn't it?
not too sure, you can get the DVC version for not much more than mine nowadays, check out caraudiosecuritycom, they do the 3000w monster version too, thats about 200 quid though I think!
yeah, thats the monster one, the DCV is pretty similar to mine but shallower and has a silver ring around the sub, wont be too much difference though i wouldnt have thought.

yeah, FLI are! they dont sound to bad but, like all vibe stuff, they seem to overrate what it can handle. you from uk yeah? if you havnt got any hang ups with internet buying go for any american import stuff every time, thats where two of my amps came from and they are monsters, get an amp from the US ( for about $40!) it will blow away most £200 amps in the uk. and your still saving after postage.
if you want to buy local though, go for JBL, they are the best budget stuff in the uk.
and the boxes, yeah, it was hard to find boxes to fit in that boot, watch ''my golfy and subs'' all the way through, you will see what i mean!
In my old car i had a double ported 12'' box, rumbled more but not enough range, i prefer sealed, and the subs i have are designed for small enclosures, well the pioneer one is, the vibe one just puts up with it!
yeah, the odd subs! and odd amps! just built it as i have gone along, second hand stuff mainly, i know what to look for so just snap up bargains as they come along! got it all real cheap, most expensive thing is the wiring! sounds pretty good though for what it is, one sub does lower notes than the other so they both have their own bit to concentrate on, if that makes sense.
oh and someone called ivuvdiehard or something like that said '' your subs arnt powerfull at all'' , and some other stuff i cant remember, but i accidentaly deleted his post so here it is again!

take off the numer plate to see if its the lid that rattles cuz thats what happened to my cars and if it is the lid you need some sound dampening

It is inside the boot. The numberplate is nut and bolted on with padding behind, it doesn't move an inch.

I think I might have to have an 'accident' with a screwdriver so I have to buy something different.
im looking at getting a single 12, or 10 in a ported box but building the box will be very difficult because of the shape of the boot.
