she is good for a modern day female artist. she beats underwood and swift, but not gretchen wilson. hank 3 sings country to day how the first hank would. although it would be cool to see holly and hank 3 do a song, then maybe one with hank jr
Hank was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame way back in 1961. This video was for the induction into the Music City Walk of Fame in 2008. There is still the Grand Ole Opry, that, to this day have not re-instated Hank Sr. There are quite a few groups that are lobbying to hav him re-instated as an Opry member. If you're a fan track them down and lend your support. Start bombarding the Opry website with e-mails. Spread the word!!!
Good Interview by Holly Williams. I can still hear my dad, uncles and cousins singing Hank Williams' songs on our front porch in eastern KY. Their eyes would tear up when they'd talk about his death. This is 1968, 15 years since the day he died. I was 6!
holly; you sure do favor audry williams!! I mean that as a complement. you also sing wonderfully.thanks & keep on rocking.
