In my view, it's honorable to give credit where credit is due. Sure, everything is everything...but if no one shows reverence and honor for the Creator, anyone might try for the credit.
it's quite the shame that so many people have trusted and invested in these guys, just to find out their true colors . . . did you not read what's posted there? I'm not looking to be the judge of them, their actions will determine their fate. I'm sure we're all guilty of being hypocrites in one way or another, though when it comes at the greedy costs of betrayal, lies and ripping people off, especially when supposedly operating under the guise of the "greater good" . . .
Yes, I agree with the fact that people should have integrity and be honest. But this copyright-fighting sounds just like hot-air to me.. If a person picks up on someone else's work they should have the right to branch it of into their field of activity. But if that same person don't give credit to the origins of this "inspiration" I would call that alright as well. Of course, ethics has a big role to play here.. "Betrayal, lies and ripping people off" I would say thats an exaggeration.
I don't believe in copyright laws.. I believe they are fraudulent and immoral.. Information and science should be free to anyone wiling to work with it! And karma is not a revenger or a settler of debts, it is a law of motion.

Yes, everybody should be aware of Stan Tenens work. But one should not have to "watch out" for Dan Winter.
