Thank you for posting these! I hadn't seen them. I love the film but it's a pity they didn't keep most of these in. I think the scenes that show why Luce was at the reception and the coffee shop scene and the one with Luce collecting Edie from the hospital wouls have in a way improved the feeling of build up between the two girls!

Did anyone else notice Matthew Goode say 'It's not every year you have a birthday' I laughed at that one, I think he meant to say 'It's not every day you have a birthday' or did I hear completely wrong?

What I'd like to know is whether it was written that way or did he come up with it because the director said Goode ad-libbed throughout the film. Another example: when he offered to ".. hang those flowers and put that jacket in some water".

what what what why they cut the scene in coffee shop. that's important scene. when Rachel begin to dream a life with a woman and how she feels no happy with her husband and the scene in bed .she's not happy though he cares her so much. then when Luce prepare flower. look she so lonely. stupid they almost ruin the film when they cut these scene. but I still love the movie my best favorit

Oh, God.. I gues the director of this movie knows exactly the feeling of falling for an equal for the first time... The scene where Rachel's husband is telling her a boring story and she notices the girls, and smile and recognize in those girls the feeling she herself has for Luce is just AMAZING!

i agree. i watched this movie than watched lost and delirious. thought same actress and one similar theme= another happy ending. that was a very bad idea. the juxtaposition between the ideas of coming out in this movie and in lost is so significant that you have to admire the acting skills of piper. any way I agree that they handled the issue very well where as they handled it horribly in lost and delirious
