Once someone is a senator, obviously they will want to remain a senator though for different reasons than when they first were a senator. Such reasons include a steady good salary, great benefits, better connections for family and friends,etc. To stay as a senator they'll need large amounts of campaign donations for ads,etc and all you need to do is follow their campaign donations that come from the insurance industries,etc.

A lot of these "Representatives" are simply sell-outs.
