Our turkey is cooked on Christmas Eve after we've had dinner so it's done but around 10pm and put in the porch till the morning when it's carved. Plus we don't go a visit family and they don't come to us.

Last Christmas our turkey was too big for the roasting tray so of course lifting it out of the oven, the tray which was over flowing with Turkey liquid slipped out of my hands, my mum just caught the turkey, we spent 20 minutes mopping up afterwards! What fun!
Well my mum doesn't have to worry about cooking on chrismas day because my dad does that!

what we do in my house is cook the turkey slowly overnight to avoid getting up early with a hangover and plus its a nice smell to wake up to!
