Do the steering wheel audio controls integrate well with this receiver? Is their any lag in performance or responsiveness between the two?

Are you able to use your VW steering wheel controls on this unit? Do you have to program the buttons?

You can only use the steering wheel control functions via the use of a module that you have to use separately.

yea i paid 1800 bucks and it was more but he kept cutting it down cuz the tax brought up the price a lot. Also he installed it for free and gave me the cage thing that goes around the stereo to screw it into the dash wasn't charged to me neither. plus i get 200 bucks back for the rebate that i already sent for. Its a lot of money but you get what you pay for guys! thats all i have to say.

@akuzaru i saw it for 999 at newegg. No rebate. I guess after rebate it would be 800. I am glad you like it. I still think 1000 is kinda high in this economy.

Did you happen to notice if you can still use a remote control with it? Like the SR1 that I use for my current Z3?

Also, did you notice if it had Vehicle Dynamics(or whatever it's called) view?

Did they specify how big of SD card you could use... I've seen most be limited to 2GB,,, and that would suck
