London Fire Brigade A24 Soho, Station Officer Colin 'Tonker' Townsley (Good Conduct Medal, George Medal (posthumous)) A true hero. you will never be forgotten. Rest In Peace. StnO Townsley is 10-7 but we remain 10-8. We'll take the next call brother.
My mum lost her life through this fire and I only pray that I see the man who lit that cigarette the fateful night one day......He killed what I always treasured at a very tender age........my mother!.....
@B1811Agyapong87 Sorry to hear about the loss of your mother in this sad incident. There are many factors that led to this tragedy and no one knows where the ignition started from. I've seen interviews of those that survived this horrific fire and it lives with them still, the only good that came out of it are the changes in in places like the underground to ensure it never happens again. Little comfort to you, especially at a tender age, may she RIP.
you forgot to mention body 115, the victim who was not identified until recently.
