  • What a nimrod. wha a ?

  • I remeber when this happened, never did understand why they chose to preform manouvers like that in a Nimrod especially with so many crew onboard. maybe the pilots made a mistake... it happens, but they should never have been given permission to peform such manouvers. and why the hell would you send up a reconnaissance aircraft like that to perform in an air display with anything more than a skeleton crew. Senseless. RIP

  • R.I.P :(

  • R.I.P. but it just did it's job...searching for submarines...

  • Holy shit, just when I though I have seen them all...

    Must be like hitting concrete..R.I.P

  • To all those who think this is funny or fake, your completly mistaken. 7 Good members of the Nimrod family were lost on that tragic day.

  • i went to school with the number 2 pilot was a great lad glen was his name from what ive heard they had an out dated manual for this aircraft and failed to notice and then tried to do a manuver the aircraft couldnt take at that hight

  • How did this happen?Did the pilot misjudge the distance to the ground during a maneuvre or was it a mechanical failure?

  • The moment that I saw the angle of impact I knew there would be no survivors.

  • At least the plane got washed.

  • Thats gonna give you whiplash

  • @spectre04 - NOT fake. Very real.

  • bomber

  • @tcbsrcs NOT a bomber - it is a Nimrod MR1.

  • thats sick keep your shit comments to your shit lives

  • FAKE

  • This isn't a bomber.....its a Nimrod MR1 which is a maritime patrol aircraft/submarine hunter/search and rescue aircraft. RIP to all killed!

  • @joelwhitaker Any Idea what civilian aircraft the nimrod was?

  • @sonex424

The De Haviland Comet, the very first commercial jet aircraft. The Nimrod first flew in 1967, just as the Comet was going out of service. Why the hell the Brit military would use an aircraft that was already obsolescent is beyond me.

  • @pinz2022 Why do we continue to use the B52 (as old as the comet) 4o+ years after it entered service? Because it works.

  • @sonex424 RAF

  • @sonex424 An UNmanned one?

  • @sonex424

  • @joelwhitaker what do you mean? It only civillian use i know of is that it involved in The maritime Search and Rescue of civillians.

  • @joelwhitaker Its actually a Nimrod MR2.

  • @Azathespaz6666 I reli should know that having lived with the RAF for all 18 years of my life....but i've always found it dificult to see between the two....can do it with most others but not the Nimmy for some reason.

  • @joelwhitaker Cant do what with it?

  • Respond to this video... Oh the Mr2?

  • @joelwhitaker Best way to tell is simply the colour, MR1 was white and grey, MR2 Green and then grey for some of them

  • that is one sad accident and nothing is to be said about the pilot. 1st of all if he wasn't a very good pilot he wouldn't be flying in an airshow and a nimrod and second for sure it is not in any pilot's intention to crash!!!1

  • It was a British Nimrod that crashed while on display at the Toronto Air Show. I was there. So every stfu.

  • RIP...

  • i dont care if he was a nimrod or a dipwad, he fucked up.

  • @datzfast twat!

  • @shabbypants54 twit

  • well...Since americans laugh from Russian tragic crashes, y not I laugh from this one? ..

  • @madedd02

    because its not american retard.

  • @c4521 nicely put :)

  • @madedd02 because its not an american aircraft you inbred

  • @madedd02 Because only Russian crashes are funny!

  • @madedd02 actually? NO! you can't ... simple.

  • @madedd02 except it wasnt american. good try.

  • @madedd02 this is a british one

  • Comment removed

  • @madedd02 because he made a mistake and from it 7 people died people who just wanted to see the air show and left there family behind plus the pilot lost his life to so dont be a asshole

  • omg that was scary may god help them all

  • Stalled during a maneuver started 27kt under the recommended speed.

  • you people who are making crass jokes are completely heartless/cold. A pilot makes a mistake that resulted in the deaths of 7 people. It isn't funny when you know them.

  • @BQZip01 You must be from europe because here in the US the word crass isn't used very often...

  • @BQZip01 it is not funny if you do not know them either.. RIP crew!!

  • @manhenk Many people forget the dangers involved with any flight operations. May God protect all who venture in the sky, especially those that do it to protect their countrymen. Your comment is well made.

  • they'd watched ''sky captain and the world of tomorrow''

  • did he dies

  • look like the pilot was actually a nimrod xD

lol cause of pilot error was the cause, didnt pull up on the trigger at the desired time ^^

  • @ObsidionX control column mate.......guns have triggers

  • HEY DUMBASSES THIS PLANE IN THIS PIC IS A NIMROD YES THERE WAS ANOTHER PLANE THAT CRASHED INTO LAKE ONTARIO. BUT THIS PIC IS THE NIMROD

  • when did this happened

  • @BiHKalashnikov Toronto airshow

  • all on board died i recall

  • The Nimrod MR2 (as this variant was) is a Maritime Reconnaissance, Anti Submarine, Surface Unit Warfare, Intelligence and Communication Support, and Search and Rescue multi role aircraft. I have a number of hours in these aircraft.

  • jesus

  • nimrod not a bomber but search and rescue

  • Not search and rescue. It is a reconnaissance plane.

  • @streetstream did it find the fish it was after?

  • @sddd17 Yes they did. But it got away at the last second.

  • nimrod?
