I've had a few range rovers before, I admit, it's not for the drive, it's for the space, I'm 6ft2 and fairly weighty, so if it's not something like a 7 series, E/S/GL Class, Range/Q7/Cayenne, I can't buy it, my legs don't stretch out far enough in normal cars and it causes severed discomfort. to all those who say big cars are for stupid ignorant people, fuck off, stick with your pint sized hatchbacks...
What happened to class and elegance, understated lines, refinement, plain good taste ? everything now seems to cater to wannabe footballers and middle-aged suit wearing yobs with hidden tattoos who drive like morons then go home and sit on naff leather sofas from DFS to watch England play appallingly bad football.
Thankfully, this is clearly not a car any gentleman would ever want to be seen dead in which sadly says a lot about society today.
Great online campaign: specially launched 'pulse of the city' project, Evoque website, youtube ads. All the ingredients to reach the online yuppies (young urban pro's). Fantastic. I wish I could afford it ;-)
Oh my God, how can people like that? I mean, i am an enormous Land Rover fan, I believe that the 2011 TDV8 Range Rover is one of the best cars in the world, but I cannot see the appeal here. It looks more like Chelsea than Chelsea it's self. This had better not be the way Land Rover are going.
@DidItForebode You are forgetting something. This RR is aimed at people that would never consider buying a LR/RR. For me it's spot on. I hate SUVs (specially ones that are disaster off road) and full blown off-roader is over the top for me. This thing has bigger boot than my Audi A7. Off road it should have capabilities similar to Freelander. And it has luxurious interior. Team it up with Aston Martin V8 Vantage S Roadster and you are good to go. As I said... spot on.
@trailerfitter.....stop trying to be ignorant.....thanks to the almighty TATA....land rover is still there where it should be...and makes a magnificent comeback...this...is soo much better looking then a x6
