i cant help but find it funny that on rome total war vids people only talk about the strategy and tactics involved in the fight, yet on the empire and napolean vids you find people who always say their country is better or who show an extreme amount of patriotism. i myself have posted such comments, but only when im trying to get the facts straight. im not saying anything against these people, but i just cant help but find it amusing.
@Dixafix Go to Google and type " Can you run it?" into the search bar and click on the website. It'll tell you what you need to run a specific game that you want, and also tell you if your computer specs are able to run it.
@Dixafix Yes that is common because you are just below the requirements and some of the specs are not really needed in order to play a game. For example, When I used Can You Run It and tested Age of Empires III, it said I could not play the game because I did not have Hardware TnL. But that is not truely needed to run the game, and I am able to play the game fine.
First off I love your videos, they have made for some great entertainment this week. I just felt the need to comment on the camping bit, when it comes to terrain camping I hope you realize that terrain makes or breaks a battle. I wouldn't consider it cheating if my opponent did that but it would certainly alter my tactics, i.e. pound the crap out of his lines with artillery before committing the infantry.
I'm glad this game lacks balanced maps. Balanced maps are so boring because you know your opponents assets the minute you recognize the map. In real life, someone will inevitably have an advantage in terrain. The lack of balanced maps adds a great level of reality to the game. It makes you adjust for your opponent's strengths.
It's fun watching all the pathetic virgins argue over complex social episodes like war and concepts of nation. You all have absolutely no self-esteem.

Winning the war was a joint effort. No one country had the overall victory. Germany had Japan, Italy and i forgot which others. We had America, China (i think) Russia, Australia, all sorts really. :D

Yeah sure, they got raped in WW2. But they had no shot, the German army was way bigger and stronger. I can say this, had the British population switched countries with the French population, I can assure you they would be raped too. French and Britain had demilitarized massively after WW1, and were no match for the massive military power the Nazis had created.

It's really lame though to only defend and not do anything until the enemy comes, which costs quite some men to march to the enemy army.
But maybe they can't win if they aren't so lame. But from a rational perspective every battle should take hours online, because no one wants to lose, but people like me get bored of that ktype of opponent and just rush in to get it over with. Camping is only valid to me in real life, not in a game where people wish to do battle.
Oh also, terrain "camping," as you call it is a valid strategy. Terrain is very useful, and I often make it a key part of my stratagem for a game, even when I am on the offensive.
In real life, where life and death is important, certainly it's a legitimate strategy.
In an online video game where the goal is to have fun, camping is a noobish and frustrating thing that should only be used at key times. Not in the whole damn battle.
everything yeoob does is strategy. if Prince didnt attack yeoob would. and if yeoob didnt attack, prince would. in the end one of them would end up defending and be considered "camper". using the terrain to your advantage is strategy. if any of you think this is noobish maybe you should stop doing it too? personally i like both yeoob and PoM. and last as i remembered. Why is that it says you killed lets say for example 900 enemies, but for your opponents losses it says 925. How does that happen?

plus germany probably wouldve invaded britain and then the allies wouldnt had
a place to invade from and and germany wouldve lasted longer
and you dont think about how hard resistance the germans wouldve put up if the allies actually invaded
and he was up against the most powerful industrial countrys in the world but most of those countrys had a weak military

Might I say that the French army was very tough and professional but a lack of a strong navy prevented them from true dominance. When Napoleon invaded Russia it was the country's downfall too...

Yeah sure, they got raped in WW2. But they had no shot, the German army was way bigger and stronger. I can say this, had the British population switched countries with the French population, I can assure you they would be raped too. French and Britain had demilitarized massively after WW1, and were no match for the massive military power the Nazis had created.

And in WW1, France won. Yeah they were backed by the British and Americans, but still won.
France has won a lot of battles in during history, and Napoleon would have controlled most of Europe for a long time if he hadn't marched against Russia. The french army was mostly unbeatable at the time.
It is not without reason that France has been on the mightiest nations in Europe since the dark ages.

World War 1, Germans launch massive offensive across the into France, coming within miles of Paris. How were you guys doing then? World War 2, France gone, Great Britain fighting and losing in Egypt against the frickin Italians, while they waited for the Soviet Union to lose. Great Britain didn't do shit in the Far East other than lose some islands. Who helped invade Italy? Who headed Operation Overlord? Who was providing the British with supplies free of charge?

u been learning americans style of history where u save the world and shit couse in ww1 we held germany of with france for 3 half years before u americans joined, in ww2 yer we started at first losing in the far east liek eygpt but we are who defeated the afrika corp and rommel we didnt lose aganist the itallians we destroyed them yer u helped in italy but we ultimatley pushed on aswell as helping u in burma and phillinpines aganist japan and we are only a small country and yet we helped more

hmm, really? the french beat the afrika corps? the french contributed more to the allied war effort than the americans? hmm, did u forget about a lil operation called Operation Torch in Morrocco and Algeria, British and American landing operations. they met French resistance, although it was light and scattered. the fronts u spoke of hardly were key fronts of WWII -_- n how do you say that France had helped more? yes, they did help a lot through their guerilla resistance in France, but dont >>

I think it's pretty apparent that the USA were involved in both the world wars considering they majorly influenced the outcome.

the canadian,brits,and russians did a bigger part in the war
the canadian where the first to be in the fight with japan and even supplied china with arms to drive off the japs

The USSR suffered millions of dead soldiers and civilians to buy time for the Western Allies to make their move, American industry, untouchable by Axis bombers, gave the Allies the kind of logistical capacity they needed to carry out their war, Britain held alone and gave the world hope, and France fought to the bitter end, until they could no longer resist at all. So many fought that war.

The art of this game is to force your enemy to attack even if he doesn't want to.
If you are good enough to do this then you shouldn't complain about the terrain advantage.

It's really lame though to only defend and not do anything until the enemy comes, which costs quite some men to march to the enemy army.
But maybe they can't win if they aren't so lame. But from a rational perspective every battle should take hours online, because no one wants to lose, but people like me get bored of that ktype of opponent and just rush in to get it over with. Camping is only valid to me in real life, not in a game where people wish to do battle.

Oh also, terrain "camping," as you call it is a valid strategy. Terrain is very useful, and I often make it a key part of my stratagem for a game, even when I am on the offensive.

In real life, where life and death is important, certainly it's a legitimate strategy.
In an online video game where the goal is to have fun, camping is a noobish and frustrating thing that should only be used at key times. Not in the whole damn battle.

everything yeoob does is strategy. if Prince didnt attack yeoob would. and if yeoob didnt attack, prince would. in the end one of them would end up defending and be considered "camper". using the terrain to your advantage is strategy. if any of you think this is noobish maybe you should stop doing it too? personally i like both yeoob and PoM. and last as i remembered. Noobs dont win matches, if you think yeoobs a noob why not play him in a match to find out?
