But Autzen was built with many seats closer to the field (my sister, lucky bitch) is almost ON the field, so that's why it's so loud (plus yes the fans are very loud, including my sister. We're part Italian, lol!).

I'm a Cal student from Oregon. Been to many games at Autzen, including the 42-3 disaster last week and the glorious last minute 31-24 Cal victory in 2007. I can confirm that Autzen is so loud it's ridiculous. The fans are dedicated and know when to make noise and when not to. I don't know if Autzen is necessarily the most unique or best place to catch a college football game, but it's definitely one of the loudest.
