Misteryo: Signs Before Tiya Dely Departs

While I was on vacation at Lake Sebu, So. Cotobato (left Manila on Aug 30, 2008) I learned about what happened to Tyang on TV news she was rushed to the hospital and then the succeeding event of her demise. It was a sad moment because I could not go back to immediately to Manila. I just sent a text message of condolence to "Lola Sela" (Ms. Eloisa Cruz Canlas). Good memories of listening to Tiya Dely's voice, jokes and advise will continue to linger in my heart - thanks for being part of my life!

I really miss Tia Dely, she has become part of my life listening to her radio programs since my early years in the 60's. I am grateful to God I was still able to meet her for the first and the last time in the UST Conservatory of Music during the voice recital of one of her regular guests in Serenata and had the chance to talk to her also and take some pictures. She was with "Lola Sela", Alegria Barba and Cris Capulso.If I am not mistaken this was on May 2008.
