Yeah but Bogota is not Hollywood and they are not shooting the exteriors of this show in a studio like how they did with Seinfeld, that was supposed to be NY but was shot in a gigantic studio in LA. I saw the show and it was obvious that the background was not LA.

All the extras where clearly colombian. This was also pointed out by many critics that destroyed the show for its low production values. Google "Metacritic Menta"l, where all the reviews of the show can be found.

Not all the extras, some people is from United States, and the exterios, sometimes the producers used the Bogotá City in the parts of the city that can look like LA, obviuosly is not the same, but serven, and for last thing, I didn't refer to Bogotá is Hollywood, but the porducers are from United States, are from Hollywood, we can call that, like an american progran made in Colombia.

If you google the critics section that I pointed in a my previous message, you probably know by now that "mental" is doomed. Won´t last more than a season, at least in the US. A bad start for colombian made productions.

You are the only one that you get in Google here , I have not used Internet , not be dreamer , what I said was what the Vice-Presidency of Colombia said when Fox confirmed em' that the production would be in Colombia and no at United States.

And the of ''Won't last'' , everything depends on the rating that it obtain , and not only at United States , but in Europe and Latin America also. Not yet it is doomed. And besides waiting is the first production to the exterior and in English so the mistakes would be able to be understandable.

Check the ratings, they suck even for a midseason show. It won´t last and the ratings that truly matter are those of the US, at least for shows produced for the US market, although, for the low quality values of this show, I can tell they didn´t wanna spend too much money so you might be right. It´s so cheap to produce "mental" that they might keep it only for the latin american market.

esta nueva serie sera producida en colombia para la television internacional..... es excelente que empiezen a producir en latinoamerica
