Average? I don't remember having this many storms and humid weather growing up in the 60's and 70's? I've lived in Minnesota all my life and these last 2 years are the worst I've seen for severe weather..

@JDeereGP On average Minnesota gets 30-40 tornadoes a year... last year was way above average with more than 100, this year so far we're at 30 I believe, so this year is pretty average. However the hot and humid weather isn't average at all :P

It started out promising however we haven't seen anything major in a while... 2010 was a major year for storms, this year is just an average year :P

@tman383 well For me this year has been a very hot and humid one!...I have very low talerance for heat! Im built for Minnesota Cold!

@fathead969 up here in Minnesota we tend to pride our selfs on how well we cope with the cold!...i am scandinavian so i am genetically built for cold!...Me and my friends get pissed off when people complain when its 10 below zero!...Hell we work outside in T-shirts when its in the 30s!....I hate anything above 80s...I prefer 50 as room temp..lolzzz!

@Gamerbotj12 It was actually moving fairly fast, the storm itself was moving 50+ mph from the records.

This was a very big wind even in central Minnesota that day.

@tman383 ya it was sweet. i remember we had our tourny game for baseball that day and the wind went nuts half way through the game. it was epic (im from minnetonka)
