2005 Twin Turbo GTO w/Lingenfelter Launch Controller

badass! Just got my lingenfelter lnc-2000 the other day and was wanting to know what the launch control sounded like. I wasn't going to hook it up tell I just seen this vid. That's badass. I bought it to pull timing for my nitrous, but now I will be hooking up the 2-step for sure!

Yep... had a broken clock-spring from when my steering shaft was disconnected. Some idiot (me) decided it would be fun to spin the steering wheel repeatedly when disconnected. Jackass. Lol.

what r u going to do at 2000 rpm? your launch controler should let you up to 5000 rpm. you wont get shit for a launch at 2000. i fart harder than that!

Haha I beg to differ. I cut low 1.54 60' times consistantly with my old setup when launching at 2,000. This resulted in consist 10.9x ET's at the drag strip. What you may not know is that my GTO is an automatic. Has a buitl 4L60E with a 3200 stall converter. I can only foot-brake it to about 2,000 RPM before the wheels try to spin.

I now have a twin turbo setup and the stall has been raised to 3400 RPM but I blew the motor (torque converter fault) before I had a chance to take it to the track and really test things out. With the 3400 stall I'll be able to get a hair more RPM than before, and though those turbos won't really be spooling at such a low RPM it'll still help get the car moving quicker with a 2,000 RPM launch. A trans-brake is in my future one day to get more RPM on the launch once I get it running again soon.

@SL8R71 You dont know how to drive or know the gto's... You have to baby the car off the line at about 2500 rpm then get on it from 40 mph on up... and shift at 6600 rpm not the 7000k red line there's no power up there....

Thanks man. The camera is a Sony DSC-H20. It records 720P and takes very good pictures. I sold mine around Christmas time for around $300 on Ebay. Very awesome camera for th price, lots of features and capabilities. Pretty compact size too for all that it has to offer. I'd highly recommend it after owning it for about a year. I sold mine to save up for a Nikon D3100-- 1080p video DSLR camera.

I got mine from South Coast Speed & Sound (aka Team SCSS). You won't find these listed on there site I don't think, but search threads started by "Team SCSS" on LS1GTO.com and you'll find their for-sale page on the gauges. They have all kinds of gauges to offer, and different gauge pods. The gauges are custom, from SpeedHut. And they are exclusive to Team SCSS so that's the only place you'll find them. Very similar to the stock gagues too.

Do you have any vids of your car launching? and does the lingenfelter actually work DURING the launch? Because i have an 06 GTO and i can use HP tuners to set a rev limiter before lauching very akin to what is displayed here

Thanks! Yeah there's no digital AFR gauge that's to look like the factory gauge cluster, so I went with this analog one. It does the job, but I think I would have liked a digital one better.
