hey there buddy loving the setup i had loads of problems when i had my dell laptop for the 1st time and i found out if u unpulled the power it went but then the laptop died a hour in so if i had 2 say anything get a mac or macbook pro there are no problems with that what so ever it runs tractor and no viruses or anythin so grate for home and work never slow or anythin there grate im on my 3rd 1 and not 1 has ever let me down just updated hope this helps and any help pop us a email Gr8 Work Dan
I used to be a communucations Technician and a Sound Engineer, I can tell you maybe not the cheapest solution is to run your laptop sound through a D.I Box, this will remove the ground loops as well its not the purpose of it but it has worked for me in the past.
Uh, I had a video about how to kill this buzz for a few months on my channel John! :)
Anyway, a quick way to kill the buzz if you don't have an adapter is to lower the volume on your master volume to about 70 percent or so, and just increase your individual channel volume to get more sound.
Mostly the ground Loop comes from the Power Supply, when it has an earth Pin.
The isolater works bit like a Transformer. On the one Side you put your HF Signal in and on the other comes it out, but between input and output is an magnetic field. So, there is no real connection from in to output. And that´s why no buzzing Sound is there.
I was just wondering if you could do some videos about Traktor Scratch. I'm thinking about switching to traktor because in belgium, you rarely get decend cd-players and sometimes just none, so you have to play with turntables but since I don't have any vinyl.. ;)
Hi J funny how these things happen since i got my crossover etc i have a buzz been racking my brains got new balanced leads no help ~But I have to thank Producermatt 2 days ago he suggested that same thing you can get them at car stereo places for around £5.99
he said quite often if you have a transformer near which i did so as soon as i get a chance i will test it out and we will see!!!!!! but you have backed it up so i guess it will prob work cheers j good advice as always jearley
The problem is the power brick that comes with the laptop. I'm not an electrician, but its my hunch that it comes into the brick grounded but doesn't come out that way, causing lots of static.
nice to see that the likes of metro station and kate perry are popular dance tracks down under. reassures the notion of music being universally enjoyed!
those kids have a good time,,, Good Job!

For me I bought one of the power adapter with two prongs and that goes to my laptop cord and it solved my problem with the ground noise.

Sorry for spamming you like mad, but do you get bombarded for requests by the kids when you do these gigs, or is it just me?

Hi Johnny B,
thanks for the shoutout.I´m glad to help you.

to prevent ground loop noise, you have a box that attaches to the cable, unfortunately I don't know what it is called.
