I don't think they were bashing on BoA. Her American debut was a fail, despite her being so talented =_= It was really shocking, because we expected her to be so successful here and then she wasn't. The same goes for Se7en. The American industry is different from Korean, and Americans aren't very open to listen to it, they keep preconceived notions in their head making it hard for artists from other countries to make it big if they keep the music from their countries >.<

i fear that if they go to america they won't get the respect they deserve! America is about consumerism, its not about talent anymore. Big Bang are very good looking and very talented men, but Westerners would probably be more interested in a less talented individual/band that make bubblegum club music and are perhaps just as pretty.... idiots! @1fullmon This is my opinion, and solely that: BoA didn't go as big as expected because her songs weren't as good as her Asian ones. Eat You Up, etc. were OK songs, but if you try to compare them to her Asian ones, they're nothing. Her songs were too... westernized. She should have came out strong, possibly debuted with an English version of an already popular Korean/Japanese song. The music videos and the lyrics to go with the songs weren't very good either. Her accent was pretty thick too.
