  • awesome work man, nice setup you have...makes me wish i had one like that

  • those led strips are soo sick. I used to have them pulse with my amp and have them hooked up through out my car.

  • thanks for the schooling :)

  • whats the first song?

  • @meowwwlucas

Its a "sampler" from the new Chicken Hill Productions Mixtape. It is Unreleased, and should be coming out soon! Going to be a dope mixtape with E-40, Brotha Lynch Hung, Doja Clik, WC, B-legit, Psyph, and many more!

  • @audiofanaticz *fuckin phone posted when I wasnt finished but read thay other comment and I was gonna say --- better than the good birch*

  • Do u always use that green tightbond glue??? and wat do u think about "ARAUCO" ply... I heard its better than

  • Does it matter if there are voids if you are doubling or triple layering a box?

  • @KriptKeepa24

not so much but thats going to take 2 or 3 times the wood depending on the box, at that point you could of just bought the quality 13ply all baltic birch. not the cheap birch that only has a birch veneer on the top and bottom, and filled with regular old plywood.

  • what is is the best wood to use for a sub box? MDF?

  • @negerauto123

MDF is great for boxes, its only drawbacks are the weight, and if it gets wet it expands, but this is why you wrap the box, or paint it.

HDF is also great, a lot denser and stronger then MDF but not available at most stores, but usually at lumbar yards.

or 13 ply baltic birch if you can spend $75 a sheet.

  • if you are gonna round over the edges for the plexi cutout in the wood then use the round over bit just like you would use the flush trim bit. this will be taking care of 2 steps in one. again search ebay : 1-1/2" Rad. Round Over/Beading Router Bit

  • go to ebay and search : extra long flush trim router. build a frame the size of your cutout . double tape it or screw it to your piece and flush trim it. your corners wont be square but rounded the same radius as the bearing you use on the bit. which looks better to me anyways

  • thanks for the knowledge on the cheap birch. i havent found the nicer birch in my area yet but the cheaper i have, its about $45 for a 3/4 sheet and 3/4 mdf is only $35. ill stick with the mdf for now.

this build is gonna be nuts man. i cant wait to see the smd at its limits!

  • damn bro i wish to have spot to work on and your skills!! always look foward to your vids homie!

  • now your going to have it too easy building boxes with your skills. :) keep it up man!

  • sir, where did you get that plexi?*

sorry if i spelled wrong :O

  • @bradlycriswell1990

  • Really liking your box building vids!!!!

  • @teamfapa thanks!!

  • hmmm i wish i would have had the time to watch this last night...i bought 4 sheets of the today for my build...:(

  • well mate if u pour some fiberglass resign inside the box the little voids u are talking about wont matter and it will be so sealed and u cant blow it apart with spl we built a box for 4 15 inch dd and a big port in the center square port and 15 1000d class cross fire amps and was hitting a 169.9 spl on the dash

  • @kd4ysi its not saying leaking, taking about flexing the box and it crack,, and post up some vids of that 69.9 you talk about

  • @dirtbikernick Correct! :D

  • @kd4ysi

Fiberglass resin does NOT strengthen a box, all it does is make it air tight. If you want to strengthen the box, you need to use chopmat with the resin.

Now as for huge voids in the middle of the wood not mattering. False. The thinner wood due to the void is going to cause flex, and since the wood is lesser then the rest which is 3/4inch its going to be a weak spot.

That be like building a box with dual 1/4inch sheets but leaving a 1/4inch void all the way around it...

  • Good shit man.I love the box build video's!

  • my dream sub,I need a second job lol

  • THANK YOU for showing that Brian. Not a lot of people realize the difference.

  • Nice progress mate!!!

    fecupe2001

  • @twingo16V

    thanks bro!

  • Can u send me the song at 9:18 to my email? Sturgilltommy@hotmail.com

  • Comment removed

  • OH hell YES!

  • this vid should been called " why not to use cheap birch"

  • Very nice sir! Maybe some fiberglass and resin could make that box a little stronger? Those center cuts look like a pain in the ass! LIKED + INCREDIBLE for prgress!

  • u should just do a live stream of u building boxes or somethin lol

  • Looking good so far! Can't wait for the finished box! Nice vid too!

  • that is one mean sub !!!
