I had a samsung F480 about two years ago and it was a great phone at that time, I remember I was happy with it. Obviously today is nothing against any new smartphone but at its time, for me it was great. Now I'm happy with a blackberry 9700 and I wouldn't use again my old F480 but I admit it was cool, a little bit annoying because you had to press too hard the screen and it lagged quite frequently but still a nice phone.

Everybody here thinks that the Samsung star is a great phone, but when i think of mine and them is mine soo much better!!! I dont know the difference between a iphone and f480, but i listen a lot to music, maybe was it a better phone for me. But i really love my pink f480 :P

@drewpoo90 frame rates in 3d applications are rarely constant, an intensive application that runs at a max of 24fps could see a drop down to a lowly 12fps when things get busy on screen. It doesnt look nice. While an application/game that runs at 60fps and gets a performance hit when theres many enemies on screen will see it drop to 30fps comparatively, and still therefore, run smoothly.
I'm aware most people arent that bothered about the gaming, but if you are then a higher fps is relevant.

F480 has much better camera and i think its pretty slick but i gotta admit, the iphone really does have everything perfected. Just look at how the music menu flips around so smoothly. Im getting the F480 though. Nice phone.
I phone is in some ways maybe better, but what makes a big difference between the phones is the size. I prefer phones that are less big, that i can carry them in my pockets without problems. The samsung is a very good phone, also F480i.

Ok thats some of the stupidest shit i've heard, have you seen the damn price comparisons? From what i gather the f480 is great for its price. In Australia its $30 a month for 2 years, but we also get $150 worth of calls and sms per month.

alot of people will think the i phone is brilliant because its made by apple and is alot of money. ive had the iphone and the samsung, i sold my iphone because its not as good as people make out it is. the samsung is cheaper and alot better. much prefer the samsng then iphone, but thts just my opinion

i think the iphone is nicer to use and looks nicer because of the bigger screen and the nice scrolling interface,
but the iphone is really expensive compared to the samsung tocco
so if you have the money, get an iphone but if you don't have the money, the samsung tocco is still a really nice phone ( i have the tocco) =)

Good that you can say that because its true, and the camera is better on f480, who buy a phone beacause of the camera its the same thing there. its a matter of taste. and well one of the reasons why i buy the iphone is because of the gps and wifi. And yea i can admit to that the f480 looks alitle better, but the interface from iphone feels more proffesional, dont you think?

Umm, excuse me? The iPhone doesn't do video recording or video calling. That's pathetic for how much you have to pay for it. The hype around the iPhone is that it is Apple and it's interface is accessable. The iPhone may be smoother with the transition of different screens but what is that compared to camer quality and capabilities?

Samsung Touchwiz: It has more widgets than Apple, much smoother, and a bit smaller, perfect to have in ur pocket compared to the iPhone. Touchwiz is also pretty much cheaper-.
