The difference being that Bruno wasn't taken from his home by SS police and forced to do hard labor then sent to the gas chambers. I don't think the video is disrespectful though. It's a video about a cat who lives in a former death camp. The cat doesn't know what happened there long before he was born.
Why not create a miniature camp with a little barbed wire around it and call it "Meowschwitz"? You could then have a little oven shaped bed for it to sleep in, where it stays warm, but not TO warm.
@Sunburn2007 Actually, the prisoners at Auschwitz did not die in ovens. They were usually gassed to death, shot or were worked to death. Because there were so many bodies, the Germans had to use crematoria (a crematorium is where dead bodies are burned to ashes by the way) to turn all the dead bodies into ashes. So the prisoners did not actually sleep in ovens, it's just where they were placed after they had already been executed by the SS. And by the way, it's "too warm" not "to warm"
@reymatt76 Actually a majority of prisoners died of diseases created by unsanitary conditions. Then to try and put a cap on rotting meat, those diseases spreading further, they used the crematoria to remove bio-hazards. As far as the gas chambers, the ones at Auschwitz were built by Poland post-WWII when the camp opened as a museum. The ones there originally couldn't fit people, they were meant to sterilize clothing.
@Sunburn2007 You've just contradicted yourself. They allowed their prisoners to die of diseases related to living under unsanitary conditions yet they used carvernous steam rooms to ensure they had clean clothing to wear? hehe that's a rich one...
@reymatt76 No, they weren't large gas chambers, they were about the size of a closet. And it wasn't so they had clean clothing, it was to sterilize the clothing most wore on their backs that was removed during intake and processing. This was done to prevent diseases, lice, and other things from spreading into the camp. And finally, they didn't "steam" the clothing, they used a gas called Zyklon B, which was - at the time - highly effective at killing pests, bacteria, viruses, etc.
@Sunburn2007 Why not just use bleach? Why use a cynaide based pesticide? Bleach kills everything. And if you're talking about lice, simply steaming clothing for a few minutes will kill them. Ask any doctor. Bleach has been around for a while too. Pretty common knowledge. But believe what you want. Too bad they didn't treat people with a fraction of kindness that they did with this beautiful cat. But we beat them. And we beat them good. :))
aww so cutee i love fat cats lol ! I will visit Auschwitz soon ! and if she still there i will take her < i think she gonna loves me for some reason !
Bruno apparently seems to believe that there's work to be done at Auschwitz and won't leave his post until it's finished. Someone needs to tell that stupid cat that the war ended 65 years ago.

This is a clear case of animal cruelty. Would you let your child stay out in freezing cold if he/she insists? This is the same case. Shame on those who treat this cutie like this.
FUCK U! This is just a cat, and it's the responsibility of the owners to protect him the best. Just like a kid. Suppose your kid insists on being fucked by 3 lads of the neighborhood! Would you let him do that?! Of course not! Then wat about the "free will of a living being"?! you punk!
@HonestAbe1077 When many leave Auschwitz to forget the horrors that took place there, Bruno the cat stays to remember those who died there. That is what it seems like to me.
@mindfreakloyal92 its not one of the toughest it is the toughest it is most famous for the most killed amount of people an estimated 4 million people were killed there.
@tdojack Herp Derp, I said it was the MOST toughest not "one of the toughest". Also thanks for the info I already knew ( I learned that in the 4th grade).
@mindfreakloyal92 I thought the same at first but on the other hand it's a video about a cat... I think in a way there's no way to choose a good music for this video.
Why is everyone arguing about a cat...

Why is a cat that lives in Poland named Bruno?

Well in Egypt they do so the cat is the guardian of the underworld. I dunno, just random though.

It is a cat. Yes it may happen to be at one of the most horrific places in global history but it doesn't know that.

Get a grip people! It's just a fucking cat! It doesn't know anything about Nazi Germany. I don't see how this is disrespectful.

@Sunburn2007 Also, by the way, insecticides wouldn't necessarily sterilize clothing. Bleach would have though. Try again!

dumbass, it says in the video they made an attempt at bringing it indoors but the cat found that that to be more miserable than being outside.
Shame on you for wanting to take away the free will of a living being.
