the comment that 2 strokes are not as fast and that they suck is wrong. If you put a 250 2 stroke up against a 250 4 stroke the 2 stroke is fast quicker revving and lighter. Pound for pound no gasoline engine can match a 2 stroke, the AMA just screwed up when it gave 4 strokes a 2 to 1 displacement advantage. That being said, I took the advantage and I ride a kx450.
