  • I love our chickens if any one is in any doubt as to whether or not to get some, take my advice..... GET SOME NOW!!!

  • do these chickens all have their tailfeathers cut off?

  • @xINVISIGOTHx No...no feathers have been cut from these birds....

  • I am having the same problem, off to the part store I go to get some funnels...thank you! Love your videos!

  • Great video indeed! A++++ You should run for President of America! You have great ideas! A+++ I think your Chickens are smarter than most of the Politicians of or in Washington, D.C.. HA! HA!

  • @NOBULLANDNOSPIN I agree with the politician statement!!!!!

  • @NOBULLANDNOSPIN I would say monkeys instead of chickens, that way you can train them to do a few things.

  • yea yhe roosterman was just asking a question.

  • Very clever!!! Great video! Happy henning!

  • This is a great idea. Thank you for posting this video. Awesome. I can use this idea.

  • why didn't i think of that!?

  • Pretty good unit, thanks for sharing. I may even use this idea in my barn. :o)

  • @JRooster101 A window unit doesn't discharge freon....you need to learn how some thing works before commenting on it. The run-off you're referring to is condensation! The condensation is water that is purer and cleaner than what you drink from the faucet. One hen actually roosts on top of it.

  • Using this on love my chickens..google me Penny Hibbitts

  • That's a good idea, those hens look like Rhode Island Reds?

  • Thanks for the reply...My goose was messy...she died tho...she got an infection...thank you anyway...a week a little to late on the reply ..she died last week..but thank you anyway....if i ever get another i'll do this...but i don't think i will..thanks for the help..keep up the good work

  • I can't stop my waterer from flowing over the sides. It looks lever and sealed but the water keeps leaking out over the sides. Do you have any tips for this problem. It's a real problem. I will fill my waterer up to the top and at the end of the day it's gone. I can't leave my chickens for one day because I can't keep fresh water long enough. I would appreciate any advice. I have 5 chickens to supply fresh water for. Thanks in advance for any help. M from Madison

  • @laubys1 If you have the same type waterer, you probably don't have the top tight enough or the rubber gasket is bad. If this doesn't solve the problem, you have an air hole in the waterer. I hope this helps....Greg

  • Good idea! Keeps your chicken food/water clean so they don't get sick from contemination.

  • Thanks for the great tip!

  • fidder lol

  • want to know if there is a way to do that for baby geese...they always spill their water...any tips?

  • @ciciironwill27 I guess it would depend on the type of waterer you have....you could do it with just about any hanging waterer.

  • @ciciironwill27 geese are gust messy to begin with

  • nice!! i have 27 hens of my own my chicks r gonna hatch on thursday!!!

  • Nice coupe. Good height, that will allow a great volume of fresh to flow.

  • brilliant.

  • Not really....just got tired of cleaning poop out of their feed and water!!!

  • That's a great idea! AHAHA one even tried as you said it!

  • I like it very good idea!!! I raise some Rhode Island Reds too Very good egg layers!!!

  • Simple and brilliant idea.

  • I don't know about the brilliant part??? But it has kept their feed and water clean!!!

  • Nice settup! Those Rhode Island Reds?

  • Thanks......yes, they are RIRs.....Greg

    thats a pretty good idea

  • That's a good idea! Good video

  • Donald, you gonna enclose your front porch for your chickens?? Have you cleared that with the wife??LOL

    Nice setup Greg! Great video!!!

I'm impressed at how many great ideas come from an ol' geezer and and old fart!! LOL

    Thanks for sharing!!!

    Jeff

  • Great Discovery. Can you do a video that shows your chicken coop Etc. inside and out? I'm trying to find time to put together my own for next year and I'm compiling different designs and setups.

    Thanks again for sharing.

  • Hey Kevin, For the house, I enclosed the front porch of an old house. I was in a hurry and this was the quickest thing for me to do. Along with it, I enclosed a 50x50 yard for them to forage. I already need to expand the lot...............Greg

  • No matter what Jeff says, I think you're a pretty smart fellow. I'll have to use that idea when I get my chickens. Thanks for video........... Donald

  • Hey ole' timer!!! Don't make the mistake I did by buying the feeders and waterers.....make 'em yourself!!! Those 4 you saw hanging cost about $100!!! There's plenty of plans on the net for making them.....Just wish I'd looked!!!

  • Boy I'm sure glad you told me that. $100 could buy a lot of feed for em. Thanks....... Donald
