Was this another training video like the ones used in X-CARS years ago? There were lots of continuity errors in that series. One chase started in a Sierra Cosworth, but when the officers stopped they were in an Escort RS2000! There were many other examples of parts of the series being staged and existing training videos being shown. They even allowed a driving instructor to go free after they caught him driving dangerously on a motorway!
You should use guns like the USA and just shoot them.
I was lucky to meet the GMP crew that operate the md902 explorer(police helicopter) and in the back of the cockpit they have 2 19" lcd screens 1 showing a map. And the pilot has a "sky nav system" in the front of the md902

usually knows the area but they have gps onboard.

great video. how old is it? couldn't really tell if the tescos was there so pre June 2007? looks like either a 05 or 06 on the date for the year.
