How do you know that coincidences are meaningful and not 'just coincidences'? How do you know that 'synchronicity' is not just a combination of bad maths and the confirmation bias - which seems like a much more likely explanation of the type of thing you describe? When you wake at night and see the clock do you make a note of the time and then when you have a lot of data do you do a statistical analysis to compare the occurance of 'special' numbers to their chance of happening?
Really enjoyed your words, and for a skeptic like me I receive your points easily. I see all the number combinations very often...hope to be guided to their meaning. I've asked God often...what is my destiny?
in 2005 i turned 25 years old, I started seeing same numbers on the clocks in increasing frequency to the point that throughout my daily life whether in a car, work etc i will seeth esame numbers liek 2:221:113:33 etc, now I am very spiritualy aware but when I asked myself what does this mean what am i being told by seeing same numbers so much that it gets scary at times. I really wish i had a clue what to do. Im 29 now and feel as if my life is going nowhere, i wish i knew
I'm the same age as you and going through the same thing as you. At 25 I went through somethin' that has caused me to become increasingly spiritually aware---so much so that I've done a complete 360 in my beliefs from what I was taught from a child up to that point. But now that I'm awakened and have all this new knowledge, I'm like "What now? What am I supposed to do wtih it?" I too feel like my life is stagnant and that I've wasted most of it and I'm purposeless and empty.
well all i know is even at home on unemployment not working for over a year i just turned 30 and I still see the same numbers throughought my days and nights when ever I look to the clock its very errie, what ive been doing lately is asking god source or universe in prayers to please help me contact my spirit guides and angels to open my brain to comminicate to them. All i know is that ive been learning that spirit guides can influence thought
Hey michellehondjes-that's a great question! I see how it might help if you're searching. I found Christianity a great start for me personally. The more I visit other cultures, experience various belief systems & study the history the more clear it becomes that they're all very much rooted in the same universal concepts- just being expressed in 'different' languages. Once that veil of illusion is lifted exclusivity becomes null, the path for free will clear, relationships flow naturally.
One thing that keeps coming up in my life are is the number '333'. It was originally and Old Testament scripture that was meaningful to me. It keeps showing up. I wake up at 3:33 a.m. far too often than to dismiss it as coincidence. I was listening to a video the other day with a guy who is/was a savant with numbers. He said '333' was the happiest number he knew. I was later watching a t.v. program when the number came up again, twice. Your thoughts?
Bill, what do you think is happening when you know you are doing exactly what you know you were born to do and yet your are struggling with it (as in it isn't paying what you know it should be)?
I would take one of two perspectives. Bear in mind that we discover the course of our destiny like a jigsaw puzzle or a mystery. Sometimes because of free will we wander of that path. Either way, if you are doing what you are born to do and you aren't making what you know it should be, then you are either gaining valuable insight by not getting paid what you should be, (Often the hard times teach us the most.) or you need to evaluate your need for more money to see if it is in alignment.
right now...some guy with a beer is watchinhg sponge bob...which means he will neither purchase the winning lottery ticket, nor run into his long lost friend at the store. Or??? he may be about to dream discover his 'destiny'? True Mind is not limited. Attempts to discern it as an "expert" are vague at best. Great for seminars and religions though!
description calls this gy a "synchronicity expert". Hmmmm. there can be no such thing as a 'synchronicity expert". Synchronicity does not exist except in two minds that perieve of a bridge(of meaning)regarding some even that is meaningless outside that subjective limit. You hear the breeze in the trees nearest YOU and not on the other side of the planet. One is not more meaningful perse. Meaning is formed in the mind ALONE.
Common denominators of meaning exist and in many cases, these meanings cross all cultural barriers. You have only to study the works of Joseph Campbell or even Carl Jung to have volumes of sources to this truth. Much of what I teach is the integration of both cultural or archetypal metaphor with personal metaphor. We all pretty much agree that a red stop sign means stop. You may think of your father every time you see a turtle. One is cultural, the other personal. We infuse meaning by imprint.
is it destiny? free will that thousands of kids are killed by cancer and drunk drivers? He leaves THOSE 'incedences' out! If Destiny rules then birth control pills are in direct opposition to it, right? So...you pick destiny when it fits your schemes and then freewill when THAT fits better. it is the light and dark of unclear consciousness. Where we are all stuck and a few pretending we are not. Like this guy.
There is no doubt that many sad and atrocious things happen in this world, and if we view the world from the perspective that this life is all there is, these things can create a despair that is truly irreconcilable. But if we view this life as the precursor to another whether that be a heaven or reincarnation, then we can understand in terms of destiny that when your time is up, your time is up, whether you're 4 or 90. Ultimately, we are all here to give and receive love.
coincidence is a natural occuraence...rocks never notice them because they are rocks. Humans with consciousness recognize patterns. We ignore the boring day to day ones and only what is novel is seen as 'coincidence''. There is both math and poetry in what we see as coincidence. We then choose what we will do or even coincidence is meaningless. "destiny" as an absolute is as careless an assumption as 'free will'. All is subjective.
Wow, terrific observations! Yes, a conscious observer is most definitely a component of synchronicity or coincidence. I would agree with you that it is indeed both math and poetry, math to bring up the odds and poetry to illicit a meaning. Acting on synchronicity will not only make it more than trivial, but will increase its occurence in my experience. And yes, destiny and free will both exist. Terrific summation!
Its about time someone thinks the same as I do on this subject. Its all I think about...everyday all day long. It makes to much sense synchronicity does.
is he talking about god putting you on the right path

The number 3 is the number of divine perfection. Certainly we can consider the trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, but
also in the Universe, there is time, space
and matter.
Time, Space and Matter are all trinities past, present and future
height, width and depth
solid, liquid or gas
So essentially we live in a trinity of trinities, 333.
God the Father spoke from heaven three times. Matthew 3:17, Matthew 17:5 and John 12:28
So seeing this would be in my belief, very positive.
