@trickyricky98 Like suspended coasters, inverts swing from side to side since they hang under the track. Curved drops cause the coaster to swing out left or right, creating additional lateral g-forces that riders would not experience if the coaster dropped straight down like most other coaster types do.

To my knowledge, the only cars on inverted or "floorless suspended" coaster trains that actually swing below the track are the floorless cars created by Vekoma for such rides as Vampire at Chessington World of Adventures and Vekoma's family rides. However, the cars used on Bolliger & Mabillard's trains don't actually swing; they change direction only in direct relationship to the track's change of direction. Am I wrong?

@Mechum22 That's correct, but we were just trying to keep it simple rather than trying to explain all that & that the track angle on the drop causes the coaster to "swing out" creating the lateral Gs. Even though the trains on B&M inverts or Vekoma SLCs don't actually swing out, it feels like they do since the track is angled that way on curved drops.
