This is to encourage all who seemingly missed your knight in shining armour. I am getting married in July 2012 to the man I dated in high school. I went to his prom, he went to mine, we broke up & were apart for 30 yrs. We crossed paths maybe twice throughout that time while he was married and of course it was during one of those times that I realized we had feelings for each other BUT he was married. He's been divorced 9 yrs. and we crossed paths 3 yrs ago. You can't stop what's destined.
i think if you never have closure then i think it will go on forever wondering what if.thats with love,anger,hurt,feeling you were cheated out of something losing a friendship.closure is always important.if you cannot find that closure i think if you journal your feelings it will help.sometimes that person may die and you cannot say iam sorry but God knows whats in your heart and we must go on living.just pass it forward and give that love to someone else who could use it.
i had met so many good men and like a dummy i married someone who jumped on my heart and stomped. it finally got out and got over it i have 3 children from that married.i tell my daughter to make good choices my sons i tell take care of your wife and children.my youngest son hurt his wife very badly and she left.i told her to find someone worth while.right now i dont speak to my son.i dont believe in a man treating a woman bad or vice versa but my son willnot look for me to up hold wrong.

i hate that this song is so about me. i hate songs that truly related so perfectly to my life because when i go through something i make myself listen to that song on repeat for days. i swear i think my ex girlfriend and i are suppose to be together. and now she's going to get married to a man and have children. my heart is broken and beyond repair. i hate love and don't want to feel anything close to it ever.
Remember all the pain you felt when you broke up? What if you have to go through that again? Does that sound like fun? I think once you love someone, there is always a connection, but the capacity to love means the capacity to feel great pain, and it's not worth it. If I die alone, I'd rather, if the option is to feel the pain of reminiscing about a love that is LOST.
