Under section 60 or not, a stop and search has to be for a purpose. They should have been searching for a specific item(s), should have stated what they were searching for (which they didn't from what I can hear), and should have stated what they were searching for on the stop and search record (which they didn't).

They've recently switched to using Section 60 of PACE because they realise that their previous catch-all stop and search Statute - Section 44 The Terrorism Act was routinely being unlawfully used and was starting to rack up plenty of compensation for its unjust use. I offered my footage to the BBC at Soho Square as they didnt have a camera view on a snatch and grab arrest. I recognised the same police from March 26 and they were watching me at Soho. They saw me talk with a known BBC reporter and followed me to Regent Street.

I am sure that the police officer thought he switched it off because it looks like they realise its recording when they view the screen and hold it the correct way up. I was there for almost 15 minutes.

Glad the police kept your camera on because it proves how much of a whiney little dickhead you were being.I think the police did a fantastic job and handled you in a disciplined manner given your bone questions and lack of cooperation.
