@tsimon1234 Or maybe, just maybe, it is the police officers who are wasting the tax-payers money. Who stopped who? The cop just didn't like being videotaped. Tough luck I say, but that is not a reason for him to assault someone. It is his right to film for his own defense. The police's job is not harass the citizen but to protect him, in case you did not know.
@Zajmycah yes, yes, yes. You're so friggin' right. The people arguing against you are just brainwashed maggots who have no regard for human rights and are content to live in the filth society has become. When it's THEIR rights being disregarded, and THEIR families being affected by the cuts; maybe they'll wake up. Until then, I don't hold out much hope.
If I was the police I would claim all evidence of your video's under the data protection act, which would mean hours upon hours of you trawling through your video's!! and making seperate copies for each officer.
I take it you do not work, and you have nothing better to do, than to cause problems.
A Section 60 means that the Police can stop and search anyone for no reason at all, so as someone else said, why didn't you just follow the Police's Instructions??
@aidanh88 he has far too much time on his hands by showing how the police can be? Why don't you just become the PM and be done with it? You clearly don't value rights.
@stonest123 He must be a MUG to try to help and protect the rights of Arse holes like you, but there again, he's not biased so go away and get a life SLAVE
The police officer choked stuttered and could hardly speak then he want the camera off. The only violence here was from the police and they searched him under section 60 for anticipated violence what a blatant abuse of power by the police in my opinion.
@Tzimnewman3 - I can appreciate the idea of Freedom of Speech, I just think you should channel your passion and political knowledge into a good cause rather than just making somebodies day job a bit harder when really it is completely fruitless for you.
At the end of the day the police force have a big job to do, they don't want some stupid kid who thinks he can stand for something and change the world to annoy them - no wonder they got slightly pissed off with you.
@banterlicious "should channel your passion and political knowledge into a good cause rather than just making somebodies day job a bit harder"
I didn't break any law and I am enttled to film in a public place. If you have a problem, tell your local MP :-)
"I can appreciate the idea of Freedom of Speech"
The idea? Its actually a right protected by law not just an idea. The video is not about Freedom of Speech but that is another important issue for the protestors.
@banterlicious " I can appreciate the idea of Freedom of Speech"....... "into a good cause rather than just"...."stupid kid who thinks he can stand for something and change the world"..... you obviously don't appreciate or understand the idea of freedom of speech (which as the OP pointed out is protected by law, the law that the police are supposed to uphold) if you think that you, the police or anyone else has the write to determine the value of what someone has to say and then use that
@banterlicious determined value to decide if they should be allowed free speech. Free speech has to be free for all (whether you like what they're saying or not, excluding some obvious exceptions such as promoting hatred and violence) or it's not free.
@banterlicious I was not the one who asked them to follow me from Soho Square and then stop me from passing footage to the BBC which would have been shown on the evening news. They already knew who I was since they used that as their excuse to stop me. The only people who wasted their time was the police.
P.S. They already stoped and searched me earlier and the officers following me saw this.
It's also worth mentioning that, if the British state wishes to violently suppress legitimate protests, and freedom of speech, they will not stop dissent. Instead, they will create an escalation of violence which will end with suicide bombers and petrol bombs.
It might be worth writing to the Chief Constable, enquiring in a professional capacity, whether Met officers were on drugs on Royal Wedding Day. You could even send a cheque to pay for drug counselling for the officer concerned. He was obviously highly agitated, and his behaviour was totally irrational. Were they given narcotics so as to enable them to act like mad dogs on Royal Wedding day?
Some people just don't get this... it's not about believing what these guys believe, it's about believing..... and it u let someone else's beliefs be suppressed, then you're letting everyone's beliefs be suppressed..... it's called freedom of speech.... you might now like what people are saying, but you have to appreciate their right to say it... or you give up anyone's right to say anything.......
The zeitgeist has now changed, you marxist arseholes had your chance over the last 13 years, you fucked it up 'royally' now you are beginning to reap the whirlwind and long may it continue. Its going to get a lot worse too, I am loving it.
Just think, you could have been out in the sun, having a bbq and a laugh with some friends, instead you went out of your way to purposely try to offend people with your marxist agenda and it went tits up and you almost started crying like a little girl when it didnt go exactly to plan, you absolute tosspot. Where was your BBC mate? he left you in the lurch, hahaha.
Lol, clearly it isnt a fascist state or you would be getting the shit kicked out of you in a cell right this very minute with no hope of release. You and your wanker mates were just out to be aresholes, you got not nearly as much as you deserved. if I were in charge you would still be in a dungeon getting battered, think yourself lucky and grow up.
it isn't particularly popular among people watching this, I'm sure. but why can't you just talk normally to a police officer? by and large, the police is your friend. that's not just a dumb saying, but actually true. also, the police consists of human beings that are as nervous as you when you put a camera in their face. why can't u guys just sit down together and have a tea?
Also who ever stole the camara out of his hands was touching the camara all over u see his hand trying to find the mic , then he just puts the camara next to a running car to block there illigal doing in that search . You cant trust the police you cant depend on them they are bullys
Bent police should be Shot like they did to bad soldier's in War's . This way they will etha do there job well or quit . whos going to be a bent copper if the result is death? This should be the only death pentalty in this country because it will filter out the scum who are payed to "protect us"
Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel."
You may be wondering where that statement is from... Well, it's published on the Metropolitan Police Website. Make an official complaint against the officer who tried to stop you filming.
Tzimnewman3, How many times were you detained? The cops seemed to bully you, how many times were you touched by these officers? The Royal Wedding is no excuse to have your rights violated for security purposes. This is very upsetting, this can lead to violence between the youth and the police. If I were you I would sue and protest at the police station each day for about an hour. The more the people, the more the attention, make sure to wear a Neon Bright Jacket so everyone can see you.
Police in this country have been acting beyond their authority for decades, i was there watching police smash windows on a bus with a child inside back in the 80's at the Beanfield. The only thing that has changed is that they don't appear to care if they are caught on camera anymore, although they obviously don't like it... Keep it up friend.
So yet again the police reveal themselves to be heavy handed, pedantic, lacking common sense, irrational...unfortunately, the list goes on and on and on and....Look up the 'milgram experiment' to understand why they commit such terrible actions against the public.
i think you should have not walked over to the shop front...you followed his orders!! although, he looked like he was already about to flip at that point!!
@jammatoonarmy I thought by following their request which I found reasonable it would demonstrate that I was a reasonable man. Really I wish I had not been alone as it would have been great to have it all on video including when they told me I was under arrest for handling a stolen card which was actually my card.
@samowivdaamo said "wat are you trying to prove with these video's?"
That depends on personal perspective.
I see the police abusing their powers (again) by taking advantage of an innocent human being that's doing nothing more than walking around town with a camera in an attempt to expose the rotten elements inherent within our system.
The camera is a great weapon in the fight for freedom. Keep filming everyone, keep exposing the reality of this semi-dystopian landscape. Oh, and remember "NO"
@samowivdaamo "wat are you trying to prove with these video's?"
The reason I had got my camera out was to avoid being arrested for Breach of the Peace and to document any arrest. I also wanted to document that I was close to my destination - British Broadcasting House which was on Regent street about 1 minute away from where I was stopped.
@samowivdaamo are you retarded in some way? Go read the bloody met information site on section 60 searches. They should only be searching for a weapon or something else in connection with a serious crime. can't you see whats going on around you? To sneak someones credit card then use the information on it to blackmail someone into giving their details is hardly fair, either. Not to mention the assults and criminal damage. These people are supposed to be role models not criminals themselves
@samowivdaamo he is trying to prove we live in a police state and we are losing the freedom of speech. do you not find that alarming. these are the very people that are meant to protect us, not abuse that power
Whatever I feel about people being snippy with the police (and I'm not saying you were, but some of these types of videos are made by squawking idiots), that is pretty outrageous. No infraction was made by you, and they're being dicks about it.
@carpy1970 Thank you. The complaint is going to be made to a solicitor on Tuesday. They should have better luck at getting all the documents within a quicker time then my data protection act requests would.
@Tzimnewman3 It's an appalling abuse of police powers, wrongful stop and search, wrongful arrest and lack of following correct procedures. Under section 60 or not, a stop and search has to be for a purpose. They should have been searching for a specific item(s), should have stated what they were searching for (which they didn't from what I can hear), and should have stated what they were searching for on the stop and search record (which they didn't).
@carpy1970 And they also need REASONABLE cause. They seem to make that bit up. They've recently switched to using Section 60 of PACE because they realise that their previous catch-all stop and search Statute - Section 44 The Terrorism Act was routinely being unlawfully used and was starting to rack up plenty of compensation for its unjust use. The same will eventually happen here and they'll move on to using a different ACT. This is how a Police State works.
@TheHolySpirit What we thinking people obviously just don't realise is that the mindless sheeple's right to sit at home smiling inanely at the TV screen as they watch the weeding of 2 people that they have never and will never meet, a tear running down their face, their stupid minds distracted from our tax money being squandered on this pointless public event is much more important than this guys right to not be wrongfully stopped and searched, assaulted and wrongfully arrested.......
@Tzimnewman3 Also, if they had reason to stop and search you, why did they follow you and not stop you until it was obvious that where you was going was to the BBC building. It's all complete and utter bullshit. Welcome top the police state!
This kid needs to get a job and sort his head out, rather than create bother for our law inforcement, he is also one of these who will demonstrate about police using too much force or that there isnt enough police to respond to emergencies, is it any wonder with an idiot like this with a camcorder walking around solo... ban the idiot.... and his videos
@tacticalsniper34 YOU HAVE NO CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE WORLD WAKE UP THIS HUMAN IS HAVING HIS HUMAN RIGHTS STAMPED ON BY BRAINLESS PEOPLE LIKE YOURSELF WHO NO NOTHING OF WHAT'S GOING ON IN THIS WORLD YOUR RIGHTS ARE ALSO BEING TAKEN AWAY YOU BETTER DO SOME RESEARCH BECAUSE ITS HUMANS LIKE THIS WHO ARE STANDING UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS AND ALSO TRYING TO WAKE SHEEPLE UP LIKE YOU WAKE UP FOR YOUR SAKE AND YOUR FAMILY'S YOU SHOULD BE BANNED NOT THE HUMAN THAT MADE THIS REAL LIFE VIDEO
@tacticalsniper34 said "This kid needs to get a job and sort his head out, rather than create bother for our law inforcement"
What a fucking unbelievable statement!
Firstly, where is the evidence that he doesn't have a job and what difference would that make?
Secondly, the police accosted him, not the other way around. It you're going to impose yourself on another then you'd better have a damn good reason to do so. The police were abusing broad reaching powers. They were the aggressors here.
@tacticalsniper34 firstly learn to spell 'enforcement'. Secondly, how is walking down a street with a camera 'causing bother'? On the evidence of this video, what possible reason does this officer have to arrest this man? There probably 'isnt enough police to respond to emergencies' because they're all too busy harassing people like this for completely non-criminal acts. Four officers for that? Give me a break.
@tacticalsniper34 You're a faggot.. how was he causing bother? It was the polices fault as they're the ones who created that bother by telling him to stop recording when he is alloud to, he didn't resist at all and they used force for no reason.. USE YOUR EYES, MORON.
@tacticalsniper34 You should look at this video as a alarm wake-up call to what is happening right under your nose, but you didn't see because you've been distracted by your video games (fun that they are) - you've been sleeping as is the intention. You're SUPPOSED to stay asleep and blindly conform. The UK is tip-toeing into becoming a Fascist Police State and people with their head in the sand aren't even aware of it. You'll look back in a few years and wonder why you didn't do something.
Gotta say you're fucking amazing! How you held it down is a mystery to me when you're dealing with these.I'm gonna take several leaves out of your book mate,be lucky brother.
That first prick is so wound up he can't get his fucking words out, thugs, can't wait to kick off! Good work mate I hope you weren't injured seriously.
@C0ckneyReject Thank you, its exactly why I got my camera out and started recording. I already had two police officers following me from Soho Square so I was aware of an arrest coming.
@Shirebury Not a nice wish for anyone even a cunt like him, what about........hmmm?run over, one leg and an arm have to be amputated? better i think, don't you........and 'we' don't have to nurses and money for treatment on him!
@PaulaXism I don't think he wanted me to film. It seemed like they had come to arrest me before I could get into the BBC which is just 1 minute away. I offered my footage to the BBC at Soho Square as they didnt have a camera view on a snatch and grab arrest. I recognised the same police from March 26 and they were watching me at Soho. They saw me talk with a known BBC reporter and followed me to Regent Street.
I guess when I pulled the camera out they had to rethink how to handle me,
@PaulaXism the answer is nothing, if he had done somthing that would have been mentioned to him as the reason for him being stopped, te officer tells him the reason.
mate i think you did a sterling job. you are entitled to film them until they arrest you and at that point they hadn't so fuck em! good job they didnt realise it was still on so you can hear it
@chrisexplode Thanks for that. Its good to know that there are people out there who know the law. I am sure that the police officer thought he switched it off because it looks like they realise its recording when they view the screen and hold it the correct way up. I was there for almost 15 minutes.
Glad the police kept your camera on because it proves how much of a whiney little dickhead you were being.I think the police did a fantastic job and handled you in a disciplined manner given your bone questions and lack of cooperation. If you were to talk to anybody else in the street like that you would be asking for a shoeing.
@herefordparkour The point is he was entitled to film the police in a public area. The police officer at the beginning of the video overreacted with his deluded power and prestige. His adrenalin was also pumping at a furious rate; he couldn’t even speak properly!
@herefordparkour 's idea of doing something worthwhile with his time is playing leapfrog over small walls and park benches. Maybe when he becomes a man he might become politically aware. But for now he's just a child. Ignore the little ankle-biter.

The police officer choked stuttered and could hardly speak then he want the camera off. The only violence here was from the police and they searched him under section 60 for anticipated violence what a blatant abuse of power by the police in my opinion.
madmikeof74 10 months ago
@Tzimnewman3 - I can appreciate the idea of Freedom of Speech, I just think you should channel your passion and political knowledge into a good cause rather than just making somebodies day job a bit harder when really it is completely fruitless for you.
At the end of the day the police force have a big job to do, they don't want some stupid kid who thinks he can stand for something and change the world to annoy them - no wonder they got slightly pissed off with you.
banterlicious 10 months ago
@banterlicious the question is what was he being detained for? if they dont waste their time detaining the innocent that might ease the pressure
crazycrazysnakeman 10 months ago
@banterlicious "should channel your passion and political knowledge into a good cause rather than just making somebodies day job a bit harder"
I didn't break any law and I am enttled to film in a public place. If you have a problem, tell your local MP :-)
"I can appreciate the idea of Freedom of Speech"
The idea? Its actually a right protected by law not just an idea. The video is not about Freedom of Speech but that is another important issue for the protestors.
Tzimnewman3 10 months ago
@banterlicious " I can appreciate the idea of Freedom of Speech"....... "into a good cause rather than just"...."stupid kid who thinks he can stand for something and change the world"..... you obviously don't appreciate or understand the idea of freedom of speech (which as the OP pointed out is protected by law, the law that the police are supposed to uphold) if you think that you, the police or anyone else has the write to determine the value of what someone has to say and then use that
carpy1970 9 months ago
@banterlicious determined value to decide if they should be allowed free speech. Free speech has to be free for all (whether you like what they're saying or not, excluding some obvious exceptions such as promoting hatred and violence) or it's not free.
carpy1970 9 months ago
@banterlicious I was not the one who asked them to follow me from Soho Square and then stop me from passing footage to the BBC which would have been shown on the evening news. They already knew who I was since they used that as their excuse to stop me. The only people who wasted their time was the police.
P.S. They already stoped and searched me earlier and the officers following me saw this.
Tzimnewman3 6 months ago
It's also worth mentioning that, if the British state wishes to violently suppress legitimate protests, and freedom of speech, they will not stop dissent. Instead, they will create an escalation of violence which will end with suicide bombers and petrol bombs.
UKPoliceState2010 10 months ago
It might be worth writing to the Chief Constable, enquiring in a professional capacity, whether Met officers were on drugs on Royal Wedding Day. You could even send a cheque to pay for drug counselling for the officer concerned. He was obviously highly agitated, and his behaviour was totally irrational. Were they given narcotics so as to enable them to act like mad dogs on Royal Wedding day?
UKPoliceState2010 10 months ago
Some people just don't get this... it's not about believing what these guys believe, it's about believing..... and it u let someone else's beliefs be suppressed, then you're letting everyone's beliefs be suppressed..... it's called freedom of speech.... you might now like what people are saying, but you have to appreciate their right to say it... or you give up anyone's right to say anything.......

"Freedom to photograph/film
Members of the public and the media do not need a permit to film or photograph in public places and police have no power to stop them filming or photographing incidents or police personnel."
You may be wondering where that statement is from... Well, it's published on the Metropolitan Police Website. Make an official complaint against the officer who tried to stop you filming.
TheHolySpirit 10 months ago

Keep it up friend.

samowivdaamo 10 months ago
@samowivdaamo said "wat are you trying to prove with these video's?"
That depends on personal perspective.
I see the police abusing their powers (again) by taking advantage of an innocent human being that's doing nothing more than walking around town with a camera in an attempt to expose the rotten elements inherent within our system.
The camera is a great weapon in the fight for freedom. Keep filming everyone, keep exposing the reality of this semi-dystopian landscape. Oh, and remember "NO"
GMPresents 10 months ago
@samowivdaamo "wat are you trying to prove with these video's?"
The reason I had got my camera out was to avoid being arrested for Breach of the Peace and to document any arrest. I also wanted to document that I was close to my destination - British Broadcasting House which was on Regent street about 1 minute away from where I was stopped.
Tzimnewman3 10 months ago
@samowivdaamo what is it that you see when watching them?
jammatoonarmy 10 months ago
@samowivdaamo are you retarded in some way? Go read the bloody met information site on section 60 searches. They should only be searching for a weapon or something else in connection with a serious crime. can't you see whats going on around you? To sneak someones credit card then use the information on it to blackmail someone into giving their details is hardly fair, either. Not to mention the assults and criminal damage. These people are supposed to be role models not criminals themselves

@carpy1970 Thank you. The complaint is going to be made to a solicitor on Tuesday. They should have better luck at getting all the documents within a quicker time then my data protection act requests would.
Tzimnewman3 10 months ago
@Tzimnewman3 It's an appalling abuse of police powers, wrongful stop and search, wrongful arrest and lack of following correct procedures. Under section 60 or not, a stop and search has to be for a purpose. They should have been searching for a specific item(s), should have stated what they were searching for (which they didn't from what I can hear), and should have stated what they were searching for on the stop and search record (which they didn't).
carpy1970 10 months ago
@carpy1970 And they also need REASONABLE cause. They seem to make that bit up. They've recently switched to using Section 60 of PACE because they realise that their previous catch-all stop and search Statute - Section 44 The Terrorism Act was routinely being unlawfully used and was starting to rack up plenty of compensation for its unjust use. The same will eventually happen here and they'll move on to using a different ACT. This is how a Police State works.
TheHolySpirit 10 months ago
@TheHolySpirit What we thinking people obviously just don't realise is that the mindless sheeple's right to sit at home smiling inanely at the TV screen as they watch the weeding of 2 people that they have never and will never meet, a tear running down their face, their stupid minds distracted from our tax money being squandered on this pointless public event is much more important than this guys right to not be wrongfully stopped and searched, assaulted and wrongfully arrested.......
carpy1970 10 months ago

What a fucking unbelievable statement!
Firstly, where is the evidence that he doesn't have a job and what difference would that make?
Secondly, the police accosted him, not the other way around. It you're going to impose yourself on another then you'd better have a damn good reason to do so. The police were abusing broad reaching powers. They were the aggressors here.
GMPresents 10 months ago
@tacticalsniper34 firstly learn to spell 'enforcement'. Secondly, how is walking down a street with a camera 'causing bother'? On the evidence of this video, what possible reason does this officer have to arrest this man? There probably 'isnt enough police to respond to emergencies' because they're all too busy harassing people like this for completely non-criminal acts. Four officers for that? Give me a break.

I guess when I pulled the camera out they had to rethink how to handle me,
