You might be interested to know that unmarked cars are registered with the DVLA multiple times - that means that they have multiple registrations marks.

When I use to work for a garage we would service lots of unmarked cars - they all had lots of sets of plates in the boot which could be changed at regular intervals.

@SonicOverlordUK Yeah, you would have thought so. It was a few years ago now. I guess they're more strict given the new number plate regulations.
