  • INCREDIBEL !

  • It's great to know that she has reached this far after she had through lots of difficulties back then. People chose her, cos people loved and adored her. You know what that means Jackie? It means that whenever you are on top of everyone, at the peak of major stardom, you should always never to look down on those who voted you and everyone else. And that also means you have to subscribe to my videos lol jk xD

  • It's too bad this is not in HD

  • @onebaud1 Being named AGT champion is ultimately a nonsense title (like the Nobel Peace Prize or a Grammy), as we've discovered with the greater success of second-place finishers of American Idol through the years.

  • This is a like a great documentary in which the content speaks for itself. Bravo, PGComet.

  • Bush and his cronies stold the election you idiot and a deal was struck to free Jackie from AGT obligations. Simple enough for you? Don't tell me you are so fundamentally lacking in intelligence that you voted for Bush? Oh wait... your still sitting in the pumpkin patch waiting for the great pumpkin to arrive.

  • @RonnieFry I pegged you as a miserable liberal truther-type.

  • @onebaud1 With that last remark, you'll want the free membership in the Jackie Evancho Fan Club at her website, or the $30 premium membership alternative. Her website lets you follow Jackie on Twitter (including photos she twitters of her day). Her mother monitors the account and does not suffer fools who Twitter inappropriately. Videos, photos, comments and her upcoming concert schedule are on the website. It's a very cool website.

  • Any adult who isn't moved to tears by this child's singing and voice doesn't have much of a heart. And, with all the respect in the world, I have to say: eat your heart out, Sarah Brightman; this little lady has you beaten for singing, hands down! Go, Jackie, and God bless, little one! (She and my eldest granddaughter, Destiny, could be twins, and Jackie is only 360 days older than my Des, who also loves to sing.)

  • @annacrome Having heard Brightman several times, she clearly seemed under the weather; yet professional enough not to mention it lest it take away from Jackie's performance. IMHO.

  • Now I know that's your uncle Matt on the piano since I heard that intro on the "To Believe" video.

  • the baby climbing up to television clip said it all,out of the mind and mouths of babies comes the truth

  • Now that I look back on it, I don't know how much it cost to get in AGT to watch the acts but after Jackie first round they should have charge opera price. just to see and hear Jackie.

  • sure she had,,,,,,,,,,,,training....seldom people get talent naturally on this!!!

  • @garcelli1 There is no training in the world that can produce such a profound reaction in people.

  • @garcelli1 I believe Jackie falls into the category of "seldom".

  • Jackie is the most what else can be said she has stolen my heart I would give anything to see her grown because I know she is going to be a very important person in the lifes of so many. No body in my life has been as near to my heart as Jackie Evancho my dream for sure would be to meet Jackie to know that she is real and not just the angel I see when enjoying her DVDs God bless Jackie and her most wonderful family and Thank you Youtube for having her here god bless youtube to.

  • @pauliegoodgut Children have an effect on adults. Precocious ones more so. Child stars like Shirley Temple, Elizabeth Taylor, Gary Coleman, Joel Haley Osment, little Michael Jackson, Judy Garland (in TWOO) and the Lil' Rascals draw adult fans. Their innocence and full self-expression appeal to what we as adults lose as we age, and which we miss. Add talent to the mix and the feeling gets kicked up a notch or two.

  • I still can't believe she didn't win America's Got Talent... what is up with America's vote tallying machines? First George W Bush and then this disaster... something is wrong America.. get it fixed!

  • @RonnieFry FYI, she backed out of the win. It would have meant committing to headlining the AGT Tour (26 concerts, all over the place) as per the Performer Contract, and she had better things to do (e.g., platinum selling album to record) and bigger places to go (David Foster's home studio, PBS Special, etc.). AGT's Official Rules expressly state that producers can ignore vote results. You'll never see the vote results published or referred to. It's always just "call now and vote".

  • @innismor11 Jackie sang as much as Michael Grimm on every leg of the AGT tour. Kind of shoots your unfortunate and cynical theory to hell.

  • @RonnieFry Bush won because the alternative was vile.

  • @RonnieFry Of course Bush won fair and square, and so did Grimm. Then the deniers and truther-types arrived. They always do. It makes the world an ugly place.

  • Comment removed

  • I can't believe i watched this whole thing :)

  • Starting at 19:16 and again at 19:30 validates my theory that dogs and babies can still hear the voice of God and angels. Little Jessica knew an angel was singing!

  • @Skewedup2b They both also respond to high-pitched notes. Always have. Always will.

  • Like this if you watched the full 48:44 Amazing!!! SO blessed to listen x

  • her voice gives me goosebumps when she hits those high notes

  • @Fuktupratbag It's wonderful, isn't it? I love those instances. In fact, it's another reason I love opera and opera singers. When you delve more deeply into opera, you will discover the many other vocal ways great opera singers can evoke tears of joy and wonderment, or profound sadness. Such an example of the latter is Dame Janet Baker singing "Dido's Lament" in a b/w 1950's performance on YouTube (but know the story behind the aria - Dido is actually physically dying of a broken heart!)

  • For those wondering, JE didn't win AGT 2010 because she (her family and handlers) didn't want her to. It wasn't going to mesh with her (very) rapidly rising career, and the plans quickly coming together. A win would mean having to headline the 26 stop AGT Tour. "Hitman" David Foster was back in the picture, and producing a platinum album was more the priority. AGT/NBC reserves the right to 'declare' the winner (see the Official Rules at the AGT website). Only "losers" were the snowed AGT voters.

  • @innismor11 More likely, Michael Grimm legitimately won. He received more votes because hundreds of thousands of unsophisticated, hormonal teenaged female girls with tons of free phone minutes thought Grimm in his tight jeans with his sexy looks singing sexy love songs just to them was divine, and more their type than a little girl singing classical music and opera arias in Old Latin, regardless of how superbly she sang them.

  • @PatrioticGlory ..... and then those "hundreds of thousands of .... teenaged female girls" ("female girls"?!?!; there's other kinds?!?!?) never went out and bought a single copy of Grimm's debut album? Yeah. Go ahead and try and get NBC/AFT to publicly confirm your assertation. And of course those young girls don't frequent YouTube at all and that is why Grimm's top viewed YT video has half the views that Jackie's does, and only a fraction of uploaded videos. More likely, AGT gave Grimm the win.

  • @innismor11 Yes, innismor11, my delightful but sarcastic friend, besides female girls there are female WOMEN plus something called "poetic license", which I used to EMPHASIZE (see I just did it again) that they were young. Now I have no respect for NBC but I also have little use for nonsensical paranoia, like 9/11 truthers, birthers, Sarah Palin carrying Bristol's baby, and conspiracies behind the AGT contest. I'm also high-minded enough not to go out of my way to deny winners their due.

  • @PatrioticGlory (1) there are other kinds of girls, other than female? ('girls' is the noun in your sentence, 'female' the adjective); (2) 9/11, Sarah Palin, babies, etc. (huh?!?); (3) there is no AGT contest conspiracy -- it's right in the AGT"s Official Rules: NBC/AGT producers reserve the right to ignore the vote results and proclaim a winner. You will not see any public disclosure of any AGT competition vote count. Not that year, not ever,

  • @innismor11 You like to beat a dead horse, don't you? I'll bite: Carolyn See, the best-selling fiction author and a teacher of mine, taught me that perfect grammar can interfere with communicating to the reader because grammar cannot anticipate every possible expression. In fact, you'll be surprised to know new words keep getting added to our lexicon all the time. I intended a certain message, and it obviously went over your head so you went to what you know: being a grammar cop.

  • Quote from Jackie Evancho: "I do not have any tricks to warming myself up or doing something before a performance. The only thing that I do is, I say a prayer thanking God for this gift and asking Him to be there on the stage with me and sing with me".

You want to know where Jackie's power comes from? Now you know.

    It's as simple as that. ((W)) ((W))

  • 19:05-20:20 Just a sample to show that grown-ups, animals, babies ... we all know when to listen well and be moved by the presence of an angel named Jackie. :)

  • @gwenUTUBE An angel whose iPod is filled with Lady Gaga, and respect Jerry Springer and Piers Morgan. I think Jacob "she can be loud and bossy" Evancho might have rolled his eyes so many times hearing that comparison that may need surgery. lol

  • Jackie is as much of a pro as Elvis and will be known hundreds of years the same as Elvis.

  • I LOVE this! - Thank you so much for posting.

Jackie's singing was nicer than Sarah's in my opinion. BIG respect to the winning dude for being so kind to Jackie there at the end.

    Peace!

  • @khaadimone I thought that there was no comparison between Jackie and Sarah. Jackie outshone her by a mile.

  • @HotRodder2100 Sarah appeared under the weather.

  • @HotRodder2100 Jackie has also performed while ill. She says her last Tonight Show performance was her worst. Maybe it's why it's unavailable anywhere.

  • @HotRodder2100 I didn't think Sarah Brightman was there to compete with her. I thought she was there to help her look great. Isn't that right?

  • @PatrioticGlory I never said it was a competition. I was just making a comment that Jackie sounded better. "Outshone" was probably a poor choice of words on my part. Personally, I never cared for Sarah's singing voice because it sounds too mechanical, and doesn't have the pure, bell-like tone that Jackie's does. I really don't think there is a comparison, even when Sarah was at her best. I'm sure that there are people who would disagree with me, of course.

  • @HotRodder2100 Point taken. I wonder if the mechanicalness of Brightman's voice comes from singing the same repertoire for decades. Jackie has recently expressed a reluctance to sing one of her songs -- she doesn't say which but I suspect it's OMBC -- because she has to sing it so often. That'll fix itself somewhat when she expands her repertoire. (I predict she'll soon record "Solveig's Song" from Peer Gynt, it being a soprano standard). Cheers!

  • @PatrioticGlory Perhaps. I'm sure that it must get tedious to perform the same repertoire year after year, although one thing I've noticed about Jackie is that the degree of emotion and passion that she puts into each song never seem to diminish. Solveig's Song would be a beautiful piece for Jackie to sing. That would be a very good choice for her.

  • @khaadimone Their mutual respect and friendship for each other is so genuine. And unusual for a national competition with the stakes seemingly so high.

  • In a way its sad that Jackie is always finishing second. She finished second to a 20 year old opera singer in an early talent contest. She finished second on AGT. Her CD came in second to Eminem... I like to think that maybe that's what drives her to work so hard. Ironically, in terms of success, I believe she did win. VINCERO!!!

  • @valleyfisher Who is Eminem? Sorry but need to ask never heard of he or she.

  • @valleyfisher Celebrity Net Worth lists her net worth at $2.5 million.

  • this was great !!! thanks for posting this.

  • jodie foster was never this pretty.

  • 48:30 she looks like a young Jodie Foster!

  • @NateAlex10 wow... you're right.

  • @NateAlex10 It seems all blonde, blue-eyed girls that age look like Jodie Foster.

  • I can never stop smiling when I'm watching Jackie!!!

  • @15:30 Mrs Osborne predected it right 100%

  • Thank you for this great video

  • Jackie is the best thing that happened to tv and Americas got Talent,,,,,no one can compare to her

  • @ccat314p No one?

  • The girls of America put MG through, there just was not enough of us old fogys

left to put her on top. Lots of luck to MG but even girls grows up. When that happens MG days will be numbers in his career . look what happen to clay Akin, I think that was his name. Jackie don't have that to worry about as she age so will the teenboppers.

  • @littlejackrussell Speaking Clay Aiken, David Foster's sister, Jaymie, is the mother of Clay Aiken's child.

  • Thank you for putting this together...I love Jackie I cannot believe in a year how much she has improved on perfection. What a beautiful child.

  • Thanks, for this, PGC. Good job. Turns out JE and Grimm and good actors as well as singers (@ 43:55). I suspect they both already knew the result ("oh, the shock!", lol!), as JE's team and AGT & SYCO had already worked out a deal. She was already getting way too big to commit to headlining a 26-show piddly AGT tour with a group of talented non-geniuses. 2nd place was going to have to be declared the winner. No shame in it at all for Grimm, and it seems to have worked out well for all involved.

  • @innismor11 Jackie sang as much or more than Grimm throughout the AGT tour. She did not miss a peformance. Jimmy Boyd's editorial, predicting her second-place finish, and written BEFORE the results, provides more persuasive reasons for why Grimm won the competition. His comparison of Jackie with Barbara Padilla, a soprano and second-place finisher herself on AGT, seems apt.

  • Prodigy? She's a Godigy.

  • Great compilation! Picture Quality could be better, but the content of this long video is faaaantastic - watch it!

I thought I know all videos of Jackie, but there was some parts of this video that I never saw!

Many many thanks for this video!

  • I feet so sorry for Sarah. Her voice is just a shadow of what it once was. :( :(

  • Wonderful - thanks so much!! She is beyond description!!

  • Thank you for your time and effort in compiling together this video of Jackie's amazing journey for those who adore her talent.

  • just prepared a popcorn before watch this movie lol :)

  • When she didn't win the AGT title I was tempted for an instant to rip my tv apart in disgust....We now see that it really didn't matter.....she's a superstar with a huge following and milions of album sales. I've never seen anything like it.....ever.

  • The back lighting and the fog generator were perfect for this performance....she looked like she was standing on the clouds singing. I was almost surprised when wings didn't pop out along with a halo. Hardly a day passes when I don't visit YouTube to see her sing.

  • Awesome video! I love this little girl, she is such a gift, and she uses her singing gift so well and yet still remains a lovely, innocent little girl. It amazes me how effortlessly she reaches those high notes, it gives me goosebumps to hear her sing, and all other singers, adult and child, can learn something from her. I hope as she matures she maintains some of that innocence and purity, not only to her voice, but to her attitude. Yes little Jackie, dreams can come true.

  • Boss job on da video clip fella !

  • Wow, thanks for editing all this, made my job of searching so much easier. Great editing job btw! :)

  • Pie Jesu: Kind Lord Jesus, grant them rest. Kind Lord Jesus, grant them everlasting rest. Merciful Jesus, Who takes away the sins of the world, Grant them rest. Lamb of God, Who takes away the sins of the world, Grant them rest Everlasting.
  • Wow!! @PGComet, Thanks for all the hard work in compiling this together. I really enjoyed watching this without having to jump around and especially having the extra comments by Jackie that I had not seen before. Excellent Job!!!

  • AWESOME Video.. Great job.

  • Thank you for putting this video together. I was wondering if someone could do this.

And you have done a great job with this video.

  • @Velvet4U Your welcome
