You realise that they have used orchestra and this composer on previous albums, you can't expect a keyboard to create what you hear on Death cult do you, mustis was good but clearly he was never a true creative force behind the band. It certainly shut up a lot of people complaining that they would be shit without him when this album came out.

I would pay $50 a ticket to see them play with an actual orchestra. Just saw them in Royal Oak/Detroit... epic... this song was the best of their set. Would have been stellar with Vortex and a guest female vocalist for "Gateways", but was still a great show.

mustis and vortex are very talented and i miss them, but this is a much better direction to head in. if you think about it if mustis sat there and layered a bunch of keyboard parts and just played most of them back at concerts you might as well just use a real orchestra, it sounds so much better. and its still the same old dimmu if silenoz and shagrath are in the band, theyre like the structure, and the way they built off it for this album really succeeded

it is so epic that instead of using mustis's midi keyboard sound they are stepping it up and making it sound 1000 times better and atmospheric then they have ever done! Abrahadabra really is a album for the fans, taking it back 8 years at the same time as they are also bringing the sound forward in a epic direction!

Really the way to go, and as they said, a punch in the face for all the disbelievers.
