It's not even funny how people blame Hopkins for this and not Chad !

Chad Dawson and Floyd Mayweather are the dirtiest fighters of this year, no doubt.

Bernard is known to be a dirty fighter , but in this match he was the victim to dirty actions.

Chad never want's to fight Bernard again even though this fight was not conclusive, he was the one seeking a way out ! Why not give a rematch ?! Chad is the pussy in this case not Bernard. And the refs has gone crazy this year.

Bernard is known for taking his time for about 4 rounds to study and adapt to his opponent in the ring and only after takes them to school . Chad knew that Bernard sometimes is dirty so he thought that he take the initiative in this aspect and before Bernard would get in the comfort zone after the 4th round. I have no doubt that Bernard get in his head so this worried Chad and he fouled first , plus that Dawson promoter put some dirty ideas in his head that was not there before.

I didn't think Bernard quit.I just thought he was tryna buy time.He tried to use his veteran tactics as usual but it backfired.Chad's the winner.Period. I will say that I don't think Bernard is comfortable fighting Dawson.I mean look at the timing for this fight.Dawson had been calling out Bernard for years and Bernard didn't respond.It took Dawson losing to get him in the ring.

What the f*** are they talking about?! Can they actually say that Dawson would've won if the push had not happened? After just 2 rounds?! Give me a break! Just look at Hopkins first fight against Jean Pascal, he was knocked down 2-3 times in the early fight but came back and did a perfect job to get a draw, and in the rematch he wooped his ass. I can't tell for sure, but I think that Hopkins would've done better after the 4th, 5th round and win by decision.

@wreakyourface All three judges gave Dawson the first round including Howard Letterman. Hopkins was backing up the whole fight and Occidentally hold and hit, so of course Dawson wasn't landing much, but neither was Hopkins.

@TheMarkofthor That is called a "Powerbomb". A legit martial arts maneuver to take the guy's legs from under him. The ref mistook the boxing match for a UFC main event. In UFC, you can win if you Powerbomb a guy and he injures his shoulder. That is a legit TKO in UFC

@TheMarkofthor Good point taken. Either way my final verdict is the ref didn't do a good job. This fight was crap and should be Dawson winner by TECHNICAL DECISION. I posted my verdict somewhere on youtube. The reason being is that no punches were landed when Hopkins went to the floor. Only a certified DOCTOR can ascertain the nature of injury and say if it fake or not. Hopkins clearly didn't want to/wasn't able to continue (Doctor again). Dawson wanted to fight. Hopkins past stuff is sketchy
