  • A-3 is similar but thicker so is better for painting, perhaps, than spraying.

  • Is Klyr-Fire the same as A-3 Thompson Holding Agent. If not would someone please say what the Holding Agent is for.

    An obvious novice :)

  • What about using those little square glass jars of 'enamel' to paint a picture on it? Does that give you an inferior result?

  • Hi, I just found my mom's kiln and enamels. There are some copper dishes as well. I remember watching her, but don't remember the exact technique. Your work seems to be the closest to hers. The little red sieve is in my box too. Where do you get your supplies? And is there a book out there you might recommend? LIke how long to fire, etc? Thanks, maidie
