  • Would've loved to see your process to getting to those stretches/warps/effects in terms of how you made those decisions and if you had a sound in mind or just played with crap until it made a noise you liked.

  • @emoboi86 Especially how you took those short drum samples and turned them into completely different sounds!

  • @emoboi86 Thanks a lot for commenting. All this stuff is just trial and error, I keep piling on the effects until I get something I like, but plenty of times I'll end up dumping everything I've done and start again. These vids are pretty extreme examples but I was trying to show various effects and techniques for screwing with sound, I don't normally take it this far.

  • ive really been getting into corpus... use it much?

  • @bootr0s No not really, haven't given it much of a chance really.

  • You are a legend in Ableton. I will give you that but you have also way to much free time on your hands. Go spend more time with your girl/woman or go find a new one you want to spend time with. Or get a dog and play with it. Go life man :)

  • @HiphopPosse Y'know, that's not a bad idea. Thanks for the advice :)

  • @Consumerofknowledge Scary good I hope :-)

  • Interesting... I wonder the MIDI possibilities for this technique. Thank you for this video :D

    - Cheers.

  • @elARTEdelPOOP Thanks haven't really gotten into MIDI that much but there's some good vids around showing that sort of stuff.

  • only half way through and already my mouth is agape. Full props mate and congrats on the ABC thing. Peace

  • @riseup20twelve Thanks a lot for taking the time to comment. Appreciated.

  • @echt0711 Thanks a lot for commenting, glad you like it. Hope to continue this series but short of time.

  • Interesting and inspiring video. I don't see that many ppl doing the same as you do here on YouTube, like mangling a sample in a creative way. The use of warp markers and splitting the bits into separate midi tracks can go a long way, for sure. Keep up the good work!

  • @Auriculum Thanks a lot for the feedback, much appreciated.

  • Thanks for commenting, yeah there is too much going on but in these first few vids I'm just experimenting with loops, the finished version won't sound like this.

  • buddy there is too much going on. its a bit crazy! less is more!
