I love this movie. I have seen it so many times. I laugh every single time. This is one of my favorite parts but my favorite part is that poison in the cup part. Even though I have seen this movie tons of times, I can never get that part right without messing up a few times. :)
"There they were in the dark the Duke with his dagger the Doge with his (dart?) and the Duches with her dirk."
"The Duches (dug?) at the Duke, just when the Duke dove for the Doge. Now the Duke ducked, the Doge dodged and the Duches didn't. So the Duke got the Duches, the Duches got the Doge, and the Doge got the Duke."
Oh, man, why can't I have a cool job like that? Court Jester... I can totally see myself in those pointy shoes with the bells on the tips! I could juggle and stand on my head and do a silly dance! And I'd have a monkey, too! Yeah! Of course, if I wasn't funny the king would be like: "Off with his head!" Hmmm... On second thought, maybe I'll just find a job delivering pizzas or something... :-I

I had the pleasure of seeing for the first time just a few days ago. Danny Kaye really had me laughing. His comic timing is awesome.

The shared snort at the end of this scene is perfection.
