But in your video you plainly suggest there is no God and more than once. I am a writer and I have discovered that although my work may make sense to me, my editor would strongly and always disagree. He is right everytime, because you make something to tell a story, doesn't mean it makes sense to anyone else and that your message got across. Ppl are blinded by their own message and have a hard time seeing what everyone else sees. An extra pair of eyes are vital.
Basically that is my point, ur message has good intentions at heart, but I don't think u got it across to others, it is hard to tell what u mean besides there is no God. If that was your point then the message was heard, by me atleast.
I have covered it elsewhere... though frankly there are many people that get a bit confused by my head space around this... it matters not, No one needs to agree with me or understand me... in the end... no one of us ever shall completely understand the other anyway. We can only ever try and accept that all things are to some degree subjective. : )
I am confused here, u make a video to God because you believe He doesn't exist? Or you wish he did? Or you wish he was different? Or you wish His image wasn't corrupted by man? I am sorry, I know you are getting some nice comments here and your pictures and voice is beautiful, music is terrible, christian... but I am confused, can you help me out? It sounds like a cry for help but from something you don't believe exists...
It is like all prayers, something I did for myself. If you truly believe god is omniscient then you know there is no reason to pray(outside perhaps as an act of love), at least not to pray for one's needs or thoughts because after all... "god already knows your heart" Right?
So when we cry out to god we do so not because god needs to be told but because we need to voice our thoughts, we need the expression, it soothes us.
As to the music, it is a song I listened to as a teenager when I first began to question the validity of religion. There are many comforts in the notion of god, and I am in awe of anything that could instigate the wonders around us, If there is a creator, I am certainly grateful BUT this "god" of religion, this I petty, all too humanized god is simply an insult to the very notion of anything that could be in the vast unknown.
No problem on the reply, but i think this could work out as a great discussion. In my understanding of prayer you are supposed to thank God, nothing else. Again I am not a christian, but i was, raised in the religion of Lutheran and became a man in the eyes of my church and God at 14. Do not confuse the christian God as the almighty one, I do believe in a creator, just not of a religious sense.
I will try my best to explain. Your notion of God has been corrupted and i feel for you, atheists and christians, all men have consqued the concept of a creator since the time we worshiped the sun. There are too many concept of a creator to just narrow it down to one point of view, we simply do not know. Atheists who say there is no God and christians who say there is are stating a fact they neither know. Seek truth and it will set you free. I think that is what u r trying to do.
I can relate to your confusion but i do know truth and have found it, just by other means. The problem isn't with what you know, or what you believe, it is how you think about it. I can prove that 99.9% of all ppl live in a fantasy world, and use physical evidence as well, I feel u r sleeping, let me know when u want to wake up.
Actually, I to an extent agree with you, We do not know, my usage of the term "atheist" is to signify that I do not believe there is anything that fits our understanding and use of the word "god", therefore while we can never know for certain, from all I have seen and studied it is most likely there is no "god" .
That said... the rest is unknown and I do not suggest that there is nothing, just that I cannot know.
the ending suprised me. you made me think if there was a god, would i whorship him/her or it?

I simply cannot believe in god as it is defined today.
Oh and apologies: I replied from my secondary account.
