You are correct, but why does that have you rolling on the floor laughing? You've made an assumption that the reply came from star cluster M13. Did it ever cross your mind that the signal may have been intercepted? or that it may have been accessed from another dimension?
If you will notice the trend that more and more UFO siting occured shortly after our first tests with the a-bomb I think it is a rather rational hypothesis that in order to pick up a signal across multiple dimensions the signal strength would have to be at least somewhat near to that of the radiation that a nuclear weapon releases. Therefore a simple radio signal sent a less than 300 years ago would have a hard time reaching anything as far away as the m13 cluster.
And as to your "Interception" theory, to "intercept" a radio signal,a weak one none-the-less, would be the stellar equivalent of trying to find a needle in the middle of a jungle,never mind a haystack.
Both of your arguments are strawman arguments. We have NO idea what capabilities ET's may have with regards to technology. In fact, a more rational hypothesis would be that they are 1000's possibly millions of years ahead of us technologically and it would be simple for them to sort out a "needle in a haystack". Why would the aliens send us their response by writing it in a damn field? Why not a radio message as we sent them? Fractal mathematics. I learnt a few days back that unlike 2D shapes like squares etc, Fractal shapes exist in other dimentions, 'half dimensions' like dimension 2.35 or something obscure.

Because they are different. Intelligently different. If their conceptual, logical, abstract, emotional, critical thinking and analytical are different from ours, then not possible they could talk to us in any of our languages. According to my investigations it seems likely that the face was made by people, it certainly can be done. The code appeared a few days later and it has no indications of "hoaxing". The face formation may have been a trigger of some kind.

i would just like to point something out. one light year is the distance light travels in one year, therefore 25,000 light years is the distance light travels in 25,000 years. radio signals move at the speed of light. these signals were sent about 33 years ago. this means that the original message has not yet reached M13 so it is impossible that this is a reply message. do the math and you'll find that IF there is life in M13 we've still got to wait about another 49,967 years for an answer.
Yes, that is true, but the reply that was received does not say that it came from M13. If you look closely at the planetary location of the reply, it may be possible that they indicating that they are within our own solar system. This is speculation but seems plausible to me. Additionally, we know that there are more dimensions than we can physically measure so it may also be possible that crop circles are inter-dimensional communicatin, not necessarily extra-terrestrial.

If you will notice the trend that more and more UFO siting occured shortly after our first tests with the a-bomb I think it is a rather rational hypothesis that in order to pick up a signal across multiple dimensions the signal strength would have to be at least somewhat near to that of the radiation that a nuclear weapon releases. Therefore a simple radio signal sent a less than 300 years ago would have a hard time reaching anything as far away as the m13 cluster.

Both of your arguments are strawman arguments. We have NO idea what capabilities ET's may have with regards to technology. In fact, a more rational hypothesis would be that they are 1000's possibly millions of years ahead of us technologically and it would be simple for them to sort out a "needle in a haystack". I literally could find a needle in a haystack. Really I could... with a superstrong ring magnet and a piece of rope. Probably take about 15 minutes. That's with present day tech.

Do something in a 100 languages or so saying, "Hey, here we are and we're not leaving". Sacred Geometry is the universal language of mathematics detailing how everything is created. Mathematics is the only cross-cultural/cross-dimensional language and they use quite effectively IMO.

How exactly could the message have traveled 25,000 light years get decoded, then the aliens make up a message and then send it back over 25,000 light years to be crushed into a field in one year. NO signal that we can create can go faster than light. It would take 25,000 years to travel that distance.... Telephone service it is not... and crop circles are man made. It has been proven. Why would the aliens send us their response by writing it in a damn field? Why not a radio message as we sent them? There very well could be a benevolent alien force watching us (or a malevolent alien force biding its time), but this crop circle is hardly evidence of that. It is most certainly the work of a very skilled artist, but it is most definitely nothing outside of the realm of human capabilities.

distributing the message in a crop field ensures that the message will be openly distributed to the public. Incoming radio signals can be easily intercepted, jammed, controlled by powerful organizations that do not have the public good as their foremost pursuit.

Assuming this was a message sent from other species, they would know by now that we understand things in terms of binary and pictures, eg, the diagram of the alien and the triple helix etc etc.
If they are trying to communicate to us, and they know we understand pictures and binary, why do they continue to use fractals? why not stick with the binary method?

Crops circles, even to the people who think they are ALL fake, must at least understand that they are fascinating, if not for the implications of them but mathematically. Some years ago a few mathematicians looked at one crop circle and they were able to add 2 new postulates to angular equations in Euclidean Geometry. Now THAT is interesting.

Because they are different. Intelligently different. If their conceptual, logical, abstract, emotional, critical thinking and analytical are different from ours, then not possible they could talk to us in any of our languages. Abstract is the only way, and both binary and crop circles are abstract means of communication. Cats and Dogs will never talk to each other.

According to my investigations it seems likely that the face was made by people, it certainly can be done. The code appeared a few days later and it has no indications of "hoaxing". The face formation may have been a trigger of some kind.

Chilbolton Observatory is not a radio telescope (at least, not for a long time now). It's a weather radar used for meteorological surveys, studying RF propagation in the atmosphere, etc.

i would just like to point something out. one light year is the distance light travels in one year, therefore 25,000 light years is the distance light travels in 25,000 years. radio signals move at the speed of light. these signals were sent about 33 years ago. this means that the original message has not yet reached M13 so it is impossible that this is a reply message. do the math and you'll find that IF there is life in M13 we've still got to wait about another 49,967 years for an answer.

Yes, that is true, but the reply that was received does not say that it came from M13. If you look closely at the planetary location of the reply, it may be possible that they indicating that they are within our own solar system. This is speculation but seems plausible to me. Additionally, we know that there are more dimensions than we can physically measure so it may also be possible that crop circles are inter-dimensional communicatin, not necessarily extra-terrestrial.
