@savageboy1000 not really, same sort of pressure as a normal lighter with a piezoelectric ignition in it.

I returned it and got a new one that also broke after 5 min.. This time is was the spring on the cover.. Got my money back.. Maybe I just stick to using lighter-fuel and firesteel..

It is ridiculous how bad the silva helios is made.. I owned my helios 4 hours. Played with it just 4-5min and it's broken.. No gas coming out.. I can see the liquid.. Still no fire.. It's just a fancy looking piece of shit plastic lighter imitation..

@vectraB97 dude, if it broke that easily send it back / take it back to the shop! and if they complain about you over using it or not using it for its intended purpose, make a lot of noise and commotion about it... they will do anything to shut up an angry customer!!!

how long did this last before the respirator was clogged ?

@tjransley it probably lasted most of a year, although it did spend most of the time in the bottom of backpacks and pockets and had a LOT of use.

When the respirator broke, how you attempt a fix? Mines clogged as well

@KieranBroadfield1996 i took out the screws, but there was 1 i missed, so i ended up tearing it appart. to clean the respirator, you can use a soft brush or blow really hard or get an air can just to blow anything away. but just make sure that you take all the screws out and dont touch the pipeing

Meh, I can get better looking ones for the same price, some that have colour changing metals in them plus zippo style ones, all with bigger flames than that thing. :P

u r wrong the ring is to lock it off and the switch is to lock it on

@humxa24 it might work that way on others, but on mine the switch was definitely to lock it off, i did try it as a lock on but it didn't work. although the ring works as both on and off.

on mine the switch would cut off the gas, you could still spark it, but it wouldn't light

@Tompoyle get a case for it to stop dust and other crap getting into the respirator... that is what killed mine
