When I got the wii I think this game followed. At the beggining I thought it was pretty boring because I didn't know how to play it. But I started to play it today again and now when I know what to do I think this game is awesome!

What I really love about this game are all those little things that the designers put into the gameplay. Things like being able to change the background music and painting pretty much EVERYTHING in the worlds. You can even draw lines on the menus. It looks boring, but it's just addictive.

sir/madam,

honestly i felt exactly the same way but once you start colouring you just cant stop. its that addictive. basically you do paint the entire city and try to get awards on the way such as painting all the tress, billboards attaining all the styles its really fun even though the idea seems so boring. i swear =)

The only thing I would've changed for this game would be its controls:

It would've been better for jus the A button to be Jump, and then swinging the Wii remote would result in De Blob homing attack while holding Z

It got frustrating swinging the Wii remote with so much platforming in this game

I got this game for Christmas, and I had high hopes. The controls are awful, namely the jumping. You have the waggle the wiimote just to jump. Climbing up on high buildings is nearly impossible. You end up desperately shaking the wiimote, trying to climb up and paint the building in the allotted time, but sometimes you just don't jump. You can shake it an any direction and you won't get any response out of it. Bad, bad, controls. What a letdown.

I also find the jumping a tad problematic, but nothing severe whatsoever. Your jumping range is also affected by the size of de Blob. To jump farther and faster means to become smaller and closer to lower health. In my opinion, the size-to-jump ration is a gambit that is a subtle challenge to test players, but that's just my theory on it.

Yeah, that game where you roll crap around the place. Played it and got rid of it. But I'm not being harsh I'm just saying it looks like playing paint on the computer but instead for the Wii and has a story and coloring pages. But I'm not gonna judge too much until I try to play it. I might check it out. :/

I'm not obsessive over the game system. I just decided to choose this name because I'm a gamer and this is the system I play. I like the Wii system, it's just some of the Wii Exclusive games kind of suck (some). And the one for the Xbox 360 I rather get because I rather play $10 more for better online and to play with my friends. I like playing Mario Karts and I'm planning on getting Super Smash Brawl. Some of the Wii games seem like they did a half ass job on the story.Also I'm a major DAH fan.

I bought this game the other day, and have been playing it pretty much non-stop.

It's a simple concept, but it's lots of fun. And those cut-scenes make me laugh out loud :)

It's fun, the soundtrack is soothing but upbeat, the cutscenes are funny, but the one problem is jumping, which can be a little hassle. Otherweise, the game is cool and I suggest picking a copy up.

Well I was a bit skeptical when the Wii said it would go toward more casual games, but if this means innovative titles such as this one then I won't be too heart-broken. Since it is obvious that the Wii is never gonna be a console that can hold up graphically and power wise to the others it should play its strengths.
