Hi! Thank you for this helpful video. By the way, I hear many people keep on talking about Kinovelax Diet Plan (just google it), but I'm not sure if it is good. Have you tried using Kinovelax Diet Plan? I've heard many amazing things about it and my work buddy lost tons of weight with it, but she refuses to tell me :(
Oh hey! Have you considered intellectus diet (google intellectus424dietcom)? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my mate lost a ton of weight with it.
i like what you said about the apple seeds. that's so true some people are just too scare of everything like you can't eat this you can't eat that. i just watch this video and they suggested that you shouldn't drink milk or use oil to cook with heat.. ???!!!! that's just too crazy.

You said "I have it in the store". I would like very much to go to this store... where is it? I assume it is on the internet.... I'll look for myself and probably find it... see you there!
@conseler Hi, I know you have since been able to find the store, but for anyone else who is reading this, all pertinent links can always be found directly underneath EVERY video...just click the button there to expand the information section and you will find what you are looking for, thanks! ;)
good job and nice to watch! but cmon don't you pour some orange juice or something over that? would be even more healthy =) looks somewhat dry like that. i like eating nuts with raisins or dried apricots, thought you might like that too
Thanks btw, I tried it and it tasted amazing! I had bought cinnamon and it was just sitting in the cubbord bc I didn't know what to use it with when I have raisons and apples in the kitchen!!! Who would have thought! I added some almondes to mine though, but it was great! So thanks, and thanks for the idea!!
Thanks btw, I tried it and it tasted amazing! I had bought cinamon (bc I knew it was good for the blood or system) and it was just sitting in the cubbord when I HAVE raisons and apples!!! Who would have thought! I added some almondes so mine though, but it was great! So thanks, and thanks for the idea!!
You are so cute! I do have insulin resistance and am taking Metformin for the time being. Do use cinnamon in my healthy ganoderma coffee every morning and have felt my blood sugar stabolize. Will try it on apples like you though. What other things have you done to stabolize your blood sugar?
@lisadownie1 Going raw has pretty much stabilized my blood sugar! Also, not being "afraid" to NOT eat in the morning, if I'm not hungry... I used to eat in the morning just out of habit, thinking that I "should." But now I find that I usually don't feel like eating anything the first thing in the morning, and when there is no food to "mess with" my blood sugar, then it actually makes it less likely for me to get low blood sugar in the morning.
lol,,,ive never seen a nervous person on youtube...... ur just basically talking to the camera with no one around watching,,,is it dan making u nervous? haha
BTW, are you online for hours and hours? I have noticed that internet makes me very anxious, it's terrible. I'm going to cut down internet use to 1-2 hours a day max. I don't know why, just felt like sharing.
Dan is lucky, you are beautiful :) Both of you are very nice people. And don't worry, I too often feel very anxious and uncomfortable. I suppose some of us are born more sensitive. I'm struggling with it tremendously, but I have decided to love myself despite having these horrible feelings in social situations.
I love this! I went out and bought organic cinnamon so I could try this recipe and it is so much tastier than the non organic! I omitted raisens. This is a very nice snack for curbing cravings, thanks! Please post more vids!
That looks awesome! I'm gonna try it as soon as I can. And you're doing great in front of the camera. Pretty soon you won't be able to stay away from it. That's how I've been lately :P
Loved it!!! I want to try that recipe, I eat alot of apples and I make raw apple sauce and add some cinammon in it. Its delicious, apple is also good with mango MMMM.
It is great seeing you! I am sure you'll be getting more used to being in front of the camera as time goes by. I think I used to take something similar for my school lunch, so it is fun to remember that there is always a healthier option! Thank you Krista! Hugs and Love!
Yay Krista! I've eaten this twice already today. Really good. Very conveinent since my mom still has apple pie leftovers from Thanksgiving. These saved me from giving in and eating a slice of pie.
Hi! I didn't complete their formal Chef's Training Program (it costs an arm and a leg!) but I did take literally dozens upon dozens of their public classes...which were all nothing short of awesome! ...and I learned a lot...
Thanks for the simple yummy snack idea. I'm tempted to try it now but have sworn off eating at night so will try in the a.m.
I wouldn't have known you were nervous if you didn't mention it. You did a great job and so photogenic! I wish I had known about the raw food diet when I was your age (I'm 56) - life would have been a lot different in many ways! It changes a person, doesn't it?
Great job Krista! Thanks for sharing. It's nice to see you in front of the camera for a change. Looking forward to making this simple deliciious snack. Blessings to you and Dan the Man.
I think apple seeds, peach and apricot kernals contain Laetrile which releases hydrogen cyanide in the presence of or inside CANCER CELLS ONLY and not with normal cells. This destroys the cancer cell. So as we are ALL always developing cancer cells that are naturally destroyed perhaps a few seeds here an there would help provide some nutrition or support this process naturally?
Thanx for sharing the recipe, Krista! U looks so attractive! Don't be nervous! deeep breath! PS I like the garbage hole! So wise! Are u OK living in the car?
I loved your video! Good job! Don't be nervous...it's just us. :) You did great!
Here's another snack tip...I love eating banana with peanut butter and sprinkling cinnamon on it. I'm not raw yet...so I'm not sure if you eat toritillas? If so, you can also roll the banana up in a tortilla shell with peanut butter and cinnamon and make a burrito. Delicious. :)
Simply put - you are a natural on camera! Thanks for sharing something easy to prepare and very helpful to those of us who get the "wiggles" from time to time. I never knew cinnamon could balance blood sugar levels. What apple did you prepare? It sounded nice and crisp - was it chilled?
Hi Mom!!!!! No need to hide your identity...you are too cute. Is this your first YouTube comment ever Mom?? If so I am honored! So when I was little, which one of us came up with the term "the wiggles"?? I can't remember! And how often would I get the wiggles? I seem to recall getting them every day at times! Other times, more like a couple of times a week... what do you remember?
I believe the apple in this video was a Cameo! I did indeed have it chilled as I LOVE my fruit/juices chilled. ;)
your so cute.... thank you for the great snack tip... please keep them coming this is a great tip for extremely busy / non kitchen savvy people/ with a sprinkle of laziness....( although I do not know anyone with such a title*wink wink*) lol
good job lady...thanks for pointing out how people get too wrapped up in the minscule amounts of so called "toxics" in natural foods...I laughed when someone insisted to take out the apple seeds while I was teaching her a cracker mix (because of arsenic) when meanwhile, the other things people are eating are WAY worse...I'll trade trace amounts of arsenic in my apple seeds for cheese pesticides any ol day. In nature we are the seed spreaders, whether through spitting or the other end, all good~
Krista! You crack me up... lol Don't be nervous. I was the same way with my first video, I did it like 6 times because I was nervous and wasn't sure what I should say to the world at large. :) You did great!
thanks! ...so this was my first only take...I was just like screw it, instead of me trying to do it over and over again perfectly, I'll just show it to Dan when he gets back, and if he says yes, then I'll know it's ok! ...so you can of course guess what happened. ;)
You go girl!! Thank you for finally stepping out getting on camera. We are all thrilled!
I will try the cinnamon bit. Usually I have salt on my apples to feed my salt craving (knowing it is not good). I will try the cinnamon and raisins today. LLK, you were great.
I eat this once in a while. But I try to use more cinnamon in my food, because besides from the positive effects it has on the bloodsugar, it also kills bacterias that are bad for us. It`s not good to take too much cinnamon over a long periode of time, though. I`ve heard half a teaspoon a day, is enough.
The point you raised about apple seeds is very interesting. From my understanding apple seeds, peach and apricot kernals contain a substance called Laetrile.which has a bound cyanide molecule!. If people are interested its worth doing a little research because it seems that especially if chewed the seeds can have a toxic effect, HOWEVER, as you have stated, a person would have to eat ALOT at once! A healthy Liver should deal with a small amounts!
I tried this and took "Randyallenbishop"s suggestion and tried it with honey. Only difference is, instead of drizzling it over the top, I actually put a little bit on the side for dipping.
Just a tip - IF you do the honey, you might want to skip the raisins. I found all three together a bit too sweet.
The raisins are good though... I'll alternate doing it both ways. And the cinnamon is really good. Who knew? Nice way to spice up an apple.
thanks for your concern...and you gave me a great idea for a future video: knife skills! I took basic & advanced knife skill classes at the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC so I should share those skills with everyone here!
you did good Krista. I like that you did yours inside the RV. I think its cool you guys do your vids when the other is not around. love the quick snack.
Actually the video was very helpful. I was wanting to get ice cream, and the cinnamin, apple and raisin saved me :) I didn't know that about cinnamon before, I love cinnam0n. I have low blood sugar at times. I used to be so nervous when I had to talk in front of people. After doing it a lot I got over it. Just shows you are a sensitive person. Thanks for doing the vid, it was really good. Keep it up. Best to both of you!
Awesome presentation krista. Even more so knowing how nervous you were. So cute to see you out of breath, i can relate totally. Some people think its so easy to get infront of the camera until they try it lol. You did a better job than my 50 deleted first attempts lol.
good to know about the cinnamon too. My stomach was vibrating as i lay in bed last night, i wonder if that was the wiggles. Hmm.
Hey Krista, don't be nervous you did a great job. Just pretend you are talking to Dan. You guys should do some vids together too! That would be awesome.
hmmm, it totally varies...I just listen to my body! Although I haven't been into avocados specifically lately, I'll speak in avocado terms: some days I'll have as much as the equivalent of 1 avocado...some days as little as NONE or just 1/4 of an avocado.
Lately I've been more into nuts...but I buy them in the shell and crack them as I eat them, so then I end up not eating too many. ;)
yep i do the exact same with the nuts..they seem to taste better too when i get to crack them open..but when i eat too much fat in general.. i find that i get craving for bad food, headaches, fatigue, or a feeling like a sugar/caffine rush.. so i try and keep it to a minimum or none if im working out that day.
oh and btw i almost forgot to tell you i tried out your recipe yesterday.. i didnt have rasins on hand so paired it with medjool dates and some flax seeds...thanks for the recipe it was yummmmy!! :D Definitely something im going to be making regularly! :)
Hi Krista. You did an excellent vid. Good introduction, got my attention quick while laying the basic foundation of informative explanations without overplaying it. Attention keeping quick easy instructions and finally the coup de grâce, the presentation. Kudos. I'll have to try the apple, cinnamon and raisins now. Looks delicious and appetizingly healthy. Thanks.
Yeah, what would humans do if we couldn't whip up a fire to cook those tomatoes? Lol...I get like that too, that's why I went back to one cooked meal to chill me out...then got lethargic and tired....so.. I eat almonds before I go to bed so I won't be too hyper to sleep :D
Oh, I'm so happy to see another video with darling Krista! And a great one too. I really look forward to more of these. Good snack idea, simple and delish!
You are so sweet, girl !!
Now I can enjoy time with and be inspired by Dan AND Krista!
I just learned there are two main types of cinnamon. The best that also is used medicinally is Ceylon cinnamon. It is more expensive and not the usual cinnamon found in the spice isle.
True! I actually already have that type in the store too... as well as Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon! Check the link in the info section to the right of the vid. I put both of those types in the very first row so people would notice them right away. Also have Ceylon cinnamon sticks at the bottom of the page too. ;)
You did great with your Sweetie Snack. I'm glad you gave us the chance to get to see you, at last. Thanks for all you do, ordinarily behind the scenes.
Hey Krista. Well done and very enjoyable to watch. Thanks for the tip, as all these little bits of info sure help in the long term. I am collecting my little bag of tricks to keep me healthy and help in my weight loss. Thank you, you are a wonderful earth angel, helping others with the "Krista gentle touch" to it.
Hooray Krista! You are so beautiful and I love your snack idea. You did a great job with the video and I hope we'll see more of you. I remember watching Dan's confidence in front of the camera grow over time, and I know that will happen to you too. Much love to you! xoxoxoxox
Everyone should be happy to hear that Dan says that when he throws whole apples into the juicer that he always sees the seeds fly out, or they get trapped in the filter (and then removed when he cleans the juicer)
Hello Krista. I think your video is sweet I love your really down to earth attitude I can relate to that. The snack looks nice and healthy. I wonder how Crasins would be? Crushed Rosted walnuts might be good with this too. :) ~Kimberly
Hi Kimberly, thanks for your sweet comment, I am glad you like the snack! As for Crasins be careful with those as there is a LOT of refined sugar added to them—so if you are looking for more sweet, maybe try what others have suggested here & dip them in honey!
Oh & as for walnuts see if you could stand to have them be RAW! As you eat more & more natural foods, your taste buds will become more sensitive, so foods that were previously bland will suddenly one day taste delicious! ;-)
Hey Krista, your monthly hormones can induce hypoglycemic symptoms. sorry if this embarrasses you, but it's true. I have hypoglycemia and so does my oldest daughter. I have gotten better since I stopped drinking sodas and bad foods. You are so sweet and you do a wonderful job on your videos. You should do more. You have such a nice warm look about you. Good aura.
LOL, you have NOT embarrassed me, it's true! Thank you for your sweet comments, I really appreciate them! I would not be surprised if hormones have a role as my hormones are definitely still recalibrating themselves after having previously been on the pill for 10 years...a topic I will eventually cover on another vid! So no, no embarrassment at all! We are all hormonal! ...and men have their monthly fluctuations too, btw!! ;-)

It sounded nice and crisp - was it chilled?
peacefulcarolyn 2 years ago 3
I did indeed have it chilled as I LOVE my fruit/juices chilled. ;)

good job lady...thanks for pointing out how people get too wrapped up in the minscule amounts of so called "toxics" in natural foods...I laughed when someone insisted to take out the apple seeds while I was teaching her a cracker mix (because of arsenic) when meanwhile, the other things people are eating are WAY worse...I'll trade trace amounts of arsenic in my apple seeds for cheese pesticides any ol day. In nature we are the seed spreaders, whether through spitting or the other end, all good~

Krista. nice video. you should keep doing those. interesting info about blood sugar and cinnamon.
prawncarl 2 years ago
I eat this once in a while. But I try to use more cinnamon in my food, because besides from the positive effects it has on the bloodsugar, it also kills bacterias that are bad for us. It`s not good to take too much cinnamon over a long periode of time, though. I`ve heard half a teaspoon a day, is enough.
Great video! :)
WindsOfChange2009 2 years ago
Cool. Thanx Krista...... Cinnamon rules!
A healthy Liver should deal with a small amounts!
craigrgill 2 years ago
I tried this and took "Randyallenbishop"s suggestion and tried it with honey. Only difference is, instead of drizzling it over the top, I actually put a little bit on the side for dipping.
Just a tip - IF you do the honey, you might want to skip the raisins. I found all three together a bit too sweet.
The raisins are good though... I'll alternate doing it both ways. And the cinnamon is really good. Who knew? Nice way to spice up an apple.
Thanks for the great snack idea.

Keep it up. Best to both of you!

how much fat (or fatty produce) do you eat per day?
paragonflux 2 years ago
hmmm, it totally varies...I just listen to my body! Although I haven't been into avocados specifically lately, I'll speak in avocado terms: some days I'll have as much as the equivalent of 1 avocado...some days as little as NONE or just 1/4 of an avocado.
Lately I've been more into nuts...but I buy them in the shell and crack them as I eat them, so then I end up not eating too many. ;)
milokito 2 years ago
yep i do the exact same with the nuts..they seem to taste better too when i get to crack them open..but when i eat too much fat in general.. i find that i get craving for bad food, headaches, fatigue, or a feeling like a sugar/caffine rush.. so i try and keep it to a minimum or none if im working out that day.
paragonflux 2 years ago
oh and btw i almost forgot to tell you i tried out your recipe yesterday.. i didnt have rasins on hand so paired it with medjool dates and some flax seeds...thanks for the recipe it was yummmmy!! :D Definitely something im going to be making regularly! :)

I just learned there are two main types of cinnamon. The best that also is used medicinally is Ceylon cinnamon. It is more expensive and not the usual cinnamon found in the spice isle.
Good Job Krista. Peace & Love
StarFlower99654 2 years ago 2
True! I actually already have that type in the store too... as well as Saigon/Vietnamese cinnamon! Check the link in the info section to the right of the vid. I put both of those types in the very first row so people would notice them right away. Also have Ceylon cinnamon sticks at the bottom of the page too. ;)

The poison in the seeds is cyanide. It takes about 1/2 cup of apple seeds to be deadly.
christyluvsraw 2 years ago
I doubt that companies that make apple juice core the apples but who knows.
green2lean 2 years ago
Everyone should be happy to hear that Dan says that when he throws whole apples into the juicer that he always sees the seeds fly out, or they get trapped in the filter (and then removed when he cleans the juicer)
;)

Hello Krista. I think your video is sweet I love your really down to earth attitude I can relate to that. The snack looks nice and healthy. I wonder how Crasins would be? Crushed Rosted walnuts might be good with this too. :) ~Kimberly
lemonsky88 2 years ago

Good aura.
77katrine 2 years ago
LOL, you have NOT embarrassed me, it's true! Thank you for your sweet comments, I really appreciate them! I would not be surprised if hormones have a role as my hormones are definitely still recalibrating themselves after having previously been on the pill for 10 years...a topic I will eventually cover on another vid! So no, no embarrassment at all! We are all hormonal! ...and men have their monthly fluctuations too, btw!! ;-)
