Amazingly this is either THE movie version or much closer to it than the one on the single that's been released (as well as on his album, I think) and in my opinion MUCH better than the single version (aka the Rock version).

Don't get me wrong. I loved all the Bond incarnations. It's like Dr. Who to me. You love all of them because of the character. However, some do better than others. I love Connery and Brosnan. PB made me stare he was so good looking. But Craig isn't pretty, (nice body though). But in a business where you have to throw down he certainly looks the part. Cold, hard, brutal, arrogant and very alpha male but still vulnerable.
WOW, that's all I can say. I am a PI myself and have dealt with some dangerous real life stuff even as a woman and I can tell you that this Bond is for real. Real fights look and feel that way-only not so long and you get hurt. You bleed. You cry too. The other Bonds I can admire and drool over. This is a Bond I can relate to on all sorts of levels

my dad is now 54, in 1968 when he was 16yo he watched a Bond movie, who's soundtrack was interpreted by his favorite singer Tom Jones - Thunderball, now 38, almost 39 years later I will watch Casino Royale, and the soundtrack will be interpreted by MY favourite singer Chris Cornell
This song is great, and although the change of direction in both the film plot and song clearly won't appeal to the narrow minded, I feel it is best for the Bond franchise that in recent years had become fairly stale. The new rawness of both movie and song is a winner, Cornell's voice suits it in my opinion and I cannot wait for the movie to come out

I think that this song really possesses the urgency and energy of Bond with underlying coolness....its not as flashy as the previous songs for Bond films, who cares? originality is nice sometimes.

This song is really good, and the sight of Eva Green with Daniel Craig in the shower is just great. This movie will be really good.

Funny thing
my dad is now 54, in 1968 when he was 16yo he watched a Bond movie, who's soundtrack was interpreted by his favorite singer Tom Jones - Thunderball, now 38, almost 39 years later I will watch Casino Royale, and the soundtrack will be interpreted by MY favourite singer Chris Cornell

This song is great, and although the change of direction in both the film plot and song clearly won't appeal to the narrow minded, I feel it is best for the Bond franchise that in recent years had become fairly stale. The new rawness of both movie and song is a winner, Cornell's voice suits it in my opinion and I cannot wait for the movie to come out

I think that this song really possesses the urgency and energy of Bond with underlying coolness....its not as flashy as the previous songs for Bond films, who cares? originality is nice sometimes.

One negative aspect of freedom of speech is that anyone from the 'uneducated remedial' to the 'eminent scholar' can air their opinion. Sadly, statistics tend to reveal a majority of uneducated remedials, therefore I respond to help redress the balance. Whether Cornell's voice/compositions are to your taste is your decision. However, his ability is undeniable and to suggest otherwise simply places you in the uneducated remedial category.
