The Shadowrun video game is NOTHING like the original table-top rpg Shadowrun. Some might say that's a good thing, but I strongly disagree. Now, normally I love video games. I'm a gaming loser. But having actually played the orginal Shadowrun, I must say that this time, the video game sucks. There's no hacking, no magic, just shooting. That's not what Shadowrun's about!

However, I do support and love Roosterteeth wholeheartedly. But they should pick a better game.

this game isnt more than a crappy shit compared to the pen and paper version. too bad the shadowrun license is held by the cheesy developers, so another studio can´t make a better one -.- the sega and the snes version where quiet good.

if u look for a team based cyberpunk shooter you should try Dystopia, its a source mod and got hacking implemented.

You could always buy the game for ista for $5 and then get the achievements.... Both games are treated as the same, and have the same achievement list... Any PC can run it if you lower the settings...

It is extremely fun and extremely competitive, it combines both perfectly. But it takes ALOT of getting used to, it plays differently from any other FPS out there. But yes, it is really good, and at a relatively low price.

gtanoob1997 i was having this problem today. Here is how to fix it.

Download/install winrar if you don't have it

Go to the Microsoft download site and search shadowrun

download latest patch(i think its #3)

Put the patch you downloaded in a new folder

right click patch and press extract here

now copy all the files that extracted into your shadowrun folder and click yes to wright over files
